If you want to risk drinking and driving, be prepared to risk going to jail. Also, not to mention the possibly killing someone. Jail all the way.

A cop friend of mine says he thinks Lambos look like they're going 100 mph while standing still. So maybe the guy was only doing 82.

Yes, no mercy for drunk driving. He shouldn't be in that car let alone doing 182mph or even 100mph.

If he was driving drunk period, regardless of speed, he should be in deep . I dont like drunk drivers.

Drunk at 182 doesn't right to me. Sounds like BS on the speed, but if he was drinking and driving that fast, he definately needs the slammer.

He concedes he was doing 100, while his wheels start shaking at 70! - He is unsafe at any speed above 70, even if the speed limit was 100! That should be enough, but to top it off, there is an accusation of driving drunk!

Drinking - driving? No defense... A$$holes like this give everyone in a fast car a bad reputation.

In his defense, I would strongly subject a radar (assuming this due to the 182) to scrutiny. NOT in his defense, if he was drinking, he needs the book thrown at him.

I live near Lehighton and could not imagine where he would be driving 185mph in that area, maybe 100. If you dont all know, Pa is known for its abundance in Deer and its almost a pre-requisit to hit one when traveling these back roads. I think he's lucky.

"Besides, Faenza says the wheels on his Lamborghini start to shake when he goes faster than 70."

Sounds like on-topic to me:-)

I'll have to use that shaking tires excuse when I get pulled over, telling the officer that I am using inexpensive, poor examples of reproduction Ferrari wheels on my 308 and they shake alot and make the car hard to handle because thay are so heavy. So I couldn't possibly be going that fast!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA.........I COULDN'T RESIST! Sorry

Slightly OT as its a Diablo....

Court Date Set for 182mph Driver
LEHIGHTON, PA-September 4, 2003 Just how fast will a Lamborghini go?
Police in Lehighton, Pennsylvania, charge William Faenza Junior was doing 182 in his Lamborghini Diablo.

Officers also charge Faenza was driving drunk. Police say they caught up with him when he pulled into a gas station.

While Faenza concedes he may have been doing 100, he denies going nearly 200 miles per hour.

He says if he was going that fast, the police would have never caught him.

Besides, Faenza says the wheels on his Lamborghini start to shake when he goes faster than 70.

He's to appear in court next Wednesday.
