Its hard to pick just one. Can you single out just one "most beautiful woman"? I can't. But there are women who would not make my list for sure - just like the Enzo would not be on my list of "most beautiful cars". But all the other cars mentioned are true contenders. Collectively we seem to have damn good taste ! No surprise, look what we have as a common denominator !!

Wayne I have a friend in Argentina who used to race Ferrari Monzas & F1 back in the 50s. Anyways he is building replicas of the 300SLR down ther. First 1 uses a real 300SL frame, engine & drivetrain, After that he will go with cheap parts but if you have the $ I am sure he can build you a nice 1 with real 300SL parts

Still avoiding Ferraris, another car on my personal list of world's most beautiful automobiles is the 1930 "Count Trossi" Mercedes Benz SSK:

I would have to say for early Ferraris, it would have to be the 250 GT SWB California. There has always been a spot in my heart for the 84 GTO. And the Lamborghini Miura is such a beautiful car, hands down the nicest lamborghini ever created! Especially if its in that awesome yellow it comes in. SO NICE! But the number 1 car for me, is the 512TR. Im only 19 years old right now, but I can still remember falling in love with that car when i was 10 years old! And its been my #1 ever since.

THANKS again Ron for posting those pics. I wouldnt change anything on your car, so, If you ever think of getting rid of it, for a REAL good price (and by good price i mean a REDICULOUSLY low price that I could afford) send it my way! :-)

DGS,
You are so right - what ever we each have in our garage is most beautiful. And for me it's not just and initial thing. Even after all these years I still sneak into the garage for a look.

Remember when you bought your first Ferrari? The way you kept slipping down to the garage to sneak another look?

The "most beautiful car in the world" is the sports car you just added to your garage. .

330 P4, Maranello, Spider, Miura SV, F355, Enzo.

I think over all, for a road car the 550 Maranello is very beautiful... it has this presence and nice flow of lines.

How can you pump for a 288GTO and not a nice 308 GTB? You would have to call it more than a passing resemblance.

Personally the 250LM. The forgotten (er, sort of, thanks to having to race as a prototype) legend:

- More technically advanced than the 250GTO.
- First road Ferrari with a proper space frame chassis.
- First road Ferrari with the engine in the middle.
- First road Ferrari with all independent suspension.
- 3.3lt v12 (all but the first were actually 275LM's) of 330hp.
- Under 700 kg's!!
- Stunningly compact unlike space wasting more modern supercars.
- Just beautiful!!
- Won Le Mans out right!!!

Personally I put the 250LM above the GTO, but ofcourse the GTO has that special factory GT racing history ...

Pete
ps: Yes they were marketed as road cars for GT racing. Refer pictures of the Ferrari stand at the London Motor show ... I think!

Nice choice there Mr. Dupont... I remember seeing a similar one in red parked on Worth Ave. in W Palm Beach. Took a few shots... i'll try to find them...

I remember noticing the front nose... alot of good that beautiful chrome bumper is going to do... when that upper nose (in front of the hood-badge) sticks out a full 2 or 3 inches BEYOND the bumper!

As for me: Older F-cars: 250 GT California, Daytona
Modern: 456M GT (still keeping my fingers crossed for the replacement. please.. please.. please.. please.. (:

A black on black Enzo. Hands down, it's the most beautiful car ever made...

Other cars i find myself mindless drooling over are 0808 (the only car whose serial number i can remember), Jim Spiro's own Ferrari TRI/LM... What a beautiful, gorgeous, stunning car... And big-up to Jim for driving it...

The 250GTO is another one... Gorgeous... Simply gorgeous...

i lament to admit such a sacrilege, but i don't covet the 288GTO like others seem to; sorry. i know that car will be mentioned in this thread at some point...

The F50GT, California blue ext./navy blue int. 360 Spider (see TAKO's profile) and 333SP are a few others that make me dizzy... Still, there's only room at the top for one and that one is the Enzo.

For me the most beautiful ferrari (car)is the 360 spider in blue pozzi (old dealer in France),silver calipers, shields, xenon, rear challenge grill and interior with magnolia dayona seats with blue piped, steering wheel of magnolia colour, but blue carpet and blue top.
Have you seen a spider in that combination?
The seats of magnolia colour is very popular in the uk. There are ferraris with these interior in uk.
