DES,
I'll see if I can find a 1:18 Frank Rizzo to put behind the wheel.

Gus, tell Josie thanks again for letting me drive 'The Dude'; it's a really awesome car... i guess she and i are even

The F40 went to a great home; it's sitting on 'The Shelf' between my F50s and 360s... i'm so stoked to have this very key addition in my collection... i lost your card, so i'll need another one when i see you, to put above the car on The Shelf - hey, you don't have any 1:18 Galloway Chrysler license plate frames, do you...? It'd be cool to put one on the car... :-) See you soon, slappy...!

DES,
It was great to see you again and I'm glad that you enjoyed your short time down here. It's good to see someone that appreciates these toys as much as I do and I have no doubts that the F40 went to a good home. I wasn't expecting such a nice tribute here on F-chat but it made me smile on this Monday morning. I just hope that I'm really as nice as you make me out to be. Again, enjoy the car and I'll see you in A.C.!
-Augustine
P.S. Josie laughed for about two days after you drove the wrong way down that one way street!

Had the pleasure of seeing Augustine again last weekend and, as if it wasn't enough that he let me see his coveted 1:18 Ferrari and Porsche collection, he parted with an F40 so it could be a part of my collection... Altruistic beyond belief, he's truly a class act... i'm eternally grateful and indebted; Augustine, thank you...

i won't get into his magazine collection, i'll let him speak for himself on that but his 1:18 collection is truly awesome, with a Porsche 917, a Porsche 904 and a white-with-blue-stripes-# 25 330P4, to name just a few... A Daytona is also included on the shelf to round out a really cool selection... Go ahead, ask him about his magazines... :-)

Gus, i can't thank you enough, i really appreciate it...

Later that evening, Gus' girlfriend Josie let me test drive her Mini Cooper- what an awesome car...! It was a great day inside of a wonderful weekend... Josie, thanks again... :-)

Here's my newest addition to 'the shelf'...
