Hi Dave! I had not expected such a quick response to my posting,thanks.It is good to hear that you yourself have put a lot of effort into this. Good luck with the sale! And as for my username 8valve, it came from the time when I was driving an 8valve Lancia Delta HF Integrale. Handling-wise one of the best cars in the world, if not the best (6 consecutive World Rally Championship titles in a row `86-`92)

Thanks for that thoughtful effort to find the owner of the Owner's Warranty and Service Book for #29209. I am the one auctioning the book. I obtained this when the previous owner of my (now previous) 78 308 GTS assembled an assortment of papers as the car had none. It was really a mix mash of the wrong items, so I had no problem with seperating them. I have posted the serial number once or twice to this List trying to find the owner. I also posted to Ferrarilist in the past, and tried Robert Retzlaff at the "308GTB Registry" to see if he had any information. Came up empty each time, so figured the best thing to do, was to auction it. I would happily GIVE it to the rightful owner...but I can't find him/her.

Hi there! I am a newcomer to this forum, but having owned a Euro 1977 308GTB for a year and a half I thought it was about time to mingle.And here is my message: The owner of the 308GTS with chassis number 29209 can find his original Owner`s Warranty and Service book on eBay.com The item number is 2431469377. I would be very happy to find the one that belongs to my car(anybody out there in Germany having paperwork for#21747 lying around?)
