As promised, here are a few of the pictures of the Ferrari's I saw in Hong Kong. The red 360 apparently belongs to an actor, not sure who though. The yellow Porsche in the foreground on one of the shots belongs to a friend of the friend that we were with. He used to have a 355 as well as the Porsche, but his wife bought him the Porsche as a gift and that meant he wasn't allowed to sell it. He ended up doing the only thing he could...modify the pi$$ out of it.

HK is one of the biggest financial centers in the world! And it wasn't even China until a few years ago. Of course there are Ferraris, I've heard or read reports of F-spots there quite often. And as in all Asia they always have rare colour combinations and interesting modifications.

I'll post pics when I get back. Just got web access back tonight, but spotted a silver 360 with Challenge grill and there is a 412 (silver) sitting in front of my hotel with a valet tag on it right now.

I didn't see a single Ferrari in China...lot's of VW's and Audi's though. Ferrari's seem to be less rare in Hong Kong! It is true that people here like their brand names though! I didn't know Shanghai was getting a Grand Prix race...why not I suppose. A yellow 360 parked in front of one of the temples would look spectacular.

Pictures in the next few days when I get them uploaded and/or scanned.

Do you think they might get any ENZO??

I am sure plenty of people there can afford it easily.

The question is whether they want to spend their money or not in such a thing

I saw a red 360 in ZhuHai. Imagine my surprise, a middle-aged woman was driving it and parked at the hotel I was staying in for lunch. It seemed completley out of place in that city.

Alex, F-cars are very rare in China; Shanghai has 5 (1-360, 1-456 and 3 355) and Beijing has 6. The Shanghai International Circuit will be making its inaugural appearance by hosting the Chinese Grand Prix in 2004 Formula One Schedule, this event should bring great publicity and popularity about Ferrari Cars to China.

Hello everyone,
Been in Hong Kong and China for a little over a week now...since August 28th to be exact. Surprisingly (ok, not) haven't seen any Ferrari's in China. However, I have seen 2 360's (1 red and 1 yellow with challenge grill and tinted windows) and 1 red 355 Spider. The yellow 360 was first spotted at the Shell station across from my hotel (Excelsior) and the 355 was on Gloucester street. I believe I saw the same yellow 360 a few days later in the Causeway Bay shopping area.

I'll put some pics up later...anyone claim them?
