jake good move turning it down! Was it the check engine light that was still on after the rebuild that caused you to turn it down or was something else fishy about it? :-)

I don't remember where exactly those came from. I dug them up for a post on another forum maybe six months ago and just happened to save them. IIRC they were posted on a small Aerosmith fan site but really can't recall for sure.

There was also a few other Porsches, Benzes, and a guy pulling out in a Z8 as we passed.

I thought it was odd (although clever - and obviously successful) that Armani sold food there... must have taken a hint from the food at Wal-Mart and Costco :-)! It seemed like the place 'to be seen.' We tried to get a table but they said they didn't have anything in XXL :-).

Uh, sir, please don't eat that quiche near the suit rack.

That Armani Cafe place seems to attract a lot of nice cars. I was staying in a hotel in back bay about two blocks away from it for a few nights. The first night, there was a red 360 parked out front. The next night, there was a new Lotus Elise parked across the street, or at least I'm pretty sure it was an Elise. First time seing one in person. Also, a 400i on a street over from the cafe.

joey has a Silver 360B his plates Say MODENA (mass Plates) I have not seen him around in a while. He lives near me in town and we share a couple common friends but I do not know him personally. He is a car nut. I have seen him driving a silver Twinner also. A few years ago another band member (Whitford?) had his 355 burn up at the local fillin' station. I gues a bit of fuel had spilt and the exaust had been hot enough to ignite it. The car had been offered for sale to me after the rebuild but I turned it down.

Nope. They are my car friends but they don't have Cali Blue one. Joey has Silver one only.

I wouldn't be surprised if it belonged to one of the guys from Aerosmith. They are BIG TIME car guys!

Last night went out with another couple at a restaurant, walking down one of the main streets (in Back Bay, I think), in front of the 'Armani Cafe' (@ Emporio Armani) there was an Azzuro CA on tan 360 w/color matched challenge rear grill... super niiiice!

I wanted to sit and stare at it, but our friends we were with were obviously not car people ('oh, that's cool, wide car'). I think is was parked in front of a 996TT and an SL55, but who would notice with that baby around :-) (***I will admit that my universe stops and goes into Matrix-esque slow motion whenever I see a Ferrari on the street***)... the only thing was it obviously hadn't been washed, as you could see the dirt caked around the 3M clear-bra - but remaining a deeper satisfaction that it is driven.

It was still there on our way back several hours later, the owner probably getting plenty of free rounds from the cafe just to keep his car parked out front!
