Andreas, the area you are talking about is the American Legion Post. FCA has a fenced hospitality area, and they don't park cars there, on the grass. But they will park your F-car in front of the Legion hall and they rope off the cars and have a guy sitting about 10 feet away to watch them during the race. Other cars park in the lot around the side and back.

Jim, I guess I'm confused: FCA has its own fenced off area just outside (West) the main stands (other side of the street). That's where you can safely from the public park your car and get some refreshments in a tent. That's what I thought I paid some bucks for. That's where I tried to get in last year, but didn't even get passed the first guard. So I couldn't even give them a twenty or anything.

Andreas, you are kidding? They (Legion) have a big lot (open to public) and you just pay $20 then park in front of the building with the other Ferraris where they keep an eye on them for us. Its the cash that they want, not credentials. Money grubbing (blank)...Or are you talking about the Car Corral? (Don't bother, you will be stuck at the track)

I am worried my car won't be ready. I need a new mirror after getting hit by a bike on Labor Day. Not looking good since they don't distribute them anymore thru dealers. Anyone know of a Ferrari used parts source?

Copy that Jim.

It's just that last year I tried to get in there without having made a reservation and I didn't even get passed the first guard. Despite showing them my FCA credentials. So it sounds to me like either you have your paperwork straightened out in advance or you park next to an RV...

Andreas, You can always catch up with Joe Adams at the FCA Hospitality RV at the American Legion if you haven't gotten a ticket on race day. Or you can email him at www.fca-cic.org. I am sure he wouldn't mind.

HAS ANYBODY RECEIVED THEIR TICKETS FROM FCA YET?

I'm getting a tad nervous. It is now September and still no tickets. All has been paid, but nada in the mail. I'm not so worried about my seat, I can always get a ticket from the traders outside the track. But I am worried about my FCA reserved parking for my Ferrari. Heck, I don't want to take my car to Indianapolis without knowing, that it will be parked in a secluded area.

Nathan, go to www.fca-cic.org for all the FCA-USGP events. The car parade starts at the zoo at 3:00 and Gathering on Circle is from 4-8. Jim
