I don't know what a test pipe is but when I bought my Tubi, I got the 3 sections the straight through pipe to replace the Cat, the muffler and the tail pipes. Is the test pipe the one that replace the original Cat ? Man they're just too loud for town use. Great for the track though. | ||

Van, the check engine light came on once, the first time we turned it on (with no muffler). After disconnecting the battery and restarting (with muffler), it hasn't come on again. However, many people on this forum report seeing theirs come on - so I could very well be an exception. Regarding purchase, I would suggest trying an FChat sponsor first. If they cant help, I bought mine from www.u12buy.com, but it doesnt look like they sell Tubi anymore. Ernesto | ||

ernesto-thanks for the pictures-do you have any problems with the 02 readings .does your eng. light come on -or is this not a problem.also where did you get the pipes-you help would be greatly appreciated-thanks van | ||

Here is picture of my test pipe, I got it to replace a giant bong that developed a leak.  It is a pipe that goes in place of the catalytic converter, there have been many threads on the subject, here is one with a picture. | ||

OK I NEED HELP -WHERE DID YOU GET YOUR TEST PIPES.TUBI SAID THEY DID NOT SELL THEM.THE HGPARTS PIPE DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE A STRAIGHT PIPE AND SELLS FOR OVER $800-I KNOW THIS HAS BEEN ASKED BEFORE,BUT WHAT HAPPENS WITH THE 02 SENSORS WITH A PURE STRAIGHT PIPE.THE HGPARTS DOES HAVE CONNECTIONS FOR THE 02 SENSORS,BUT ARE THESE CATS ALSO.J.P.I HAVE NOT SOLD MY CAR YET-DEBATING TO WAIT FOR THE NEW 360.ONE DEALER SAID WAIT THE OTHER DEALER SAID I COULD HAVE A 04 IN MAY.I READ SOME CONFLICTING VIEWS ON ALL OF THIS [TEST PIPES] THAT I AM NOT SURE WHAT TO DO .DOES IT COME DOWN JUST TO SOUND?I DI HAVE TESR PIPES ON MY 355 WITH A TUBI EXHAUST AND THE SOUND WAS GREAT AND IT FELT STRONGER THRU. has anybody had any experience with the hgparts test pipe in lieu of the original cats.does anybody have them installed on their 360? |
