I have been using Kinesis wheels for years & havve had good luck with them, they are maybe 50% lighter than stock & they will paint them any color you like They even have both my 512TRs on their website http://www.kinesismotorsport.com/ferrari.htm |

Another vote for HRE wheels. I don't like black wheels on any car. Just my opinion. |

Neal, the price you got sounds pretty good as I paid about that much for mine and they are lighter than the speedline wheels and also being a forged wheel, it's also durable. |

david i like the 360 wheels much better than stock but they must cost a forture to get. byrons speedlines are great on a red track style car but i think would be too much black on my car. im still leaning towards hre but not rushing in to anything. as far as price goes - kinesis, etc are list price over $1000 per wheel. new 355 wheels from dealer also same so i think hre with tires, center cap, mounting and shipping at $4300 is good deal.if anyone knows of more discount please let me know. thanks |

Neal, I just went through this on my 348 Spider ealier this summer - I posted the photos here and had some interesting comments. Take a look at the photos through the link and you will see my decision and the results. Let us know what your opinion is after reviewing. http://www.ferrarichat.com/discus/messages/251280/281939.html |

Speedline wheels are much like Tubi exhausts - the accepted aftermarket upgrade because of the OEM status. Both are even offered at the dealers. When in Europe, saw a lot of Speedline (not black ones, though) and 355 wheels on the 348s - look great! Can't go wrong with either, IMHO. |

Neal, where are you getting your prices from?! That's insane. I agree with Jordan, get the Speedlines. Jason- |

another option- speedline street replica of 355 challenge wheels painted black would save about $1000 over other 2 choices |

I would go with the HRE's, but that is because I dislike fcars with other model fcar wheels on them. The 348 does look pretty good with 355 wheels on it, but I still think to myself "those wheels don't belong on that car". A purist would argue that HRE's don't belong either so I have no argument there. |

Neal, I'm no expert but I have a friend with HRE's on his TR and they look great! They would definitely look awesome on a 348. I vote for HRE. |

i want to update my 348 spider's wheels. which way should i go? refurbished 355 wheels/tires or new hre set? i would have to paint the 355 rims black while the hre would come that way. both about $4500 total. |
