Order it with either the tan or back seats. The red makes it look like a clown act. Art |

hi paul, i agree that yellow seating areas would be too hard to maintain. also, i'd really like to stick with alcantara. i'm going to ask ferrari make the seating areas black alcantara and then use yellow alcantara for the seat's trim areas. my wife assured me that alcantara is just another fabric that is available in all colors. or i may just order the red/black seats |

Rick, You can order order the seats trimmed in black leather with a yellow cloth (insert) seating area. If you look in the Carrozzeria Scaglietti catalog it should still show the yellow 355 they built for Dennis Conner with these exact seats. I think the yellow would be too easily stained though. The cloth is available in red, black, beige, yellow, bordeaux and blue per the current catalog. |

hi brian, using the standard "red/black" seats as a model (red seating areas with black trim) i was thinking of asking ferrari to make the seats "black/yellow" (black seating areas with yellow trim). it *should* look really good, but you never know until you actually see it my dealer has asked ferrari if they will do this, and their first answer was "no". apparently the first guy in the chain at ferrari always says "no". but my dealer told me that they've already bypassed him and have taken my request to the next level (i hate to bother luca but this is important). how hard can this be? there is a superb upholstery place in los angeles that can do and will do *anything* you want and they'll do it perfectly. if adding a little yellow trim is a problem for ferrari then i'll simply order the car with all black alcantara seats and i'll take care of the details myself. end of problem...unless there is some reason why yellow alcantara does not exist? my wife just walked in and is chuckling and shaking her head...she can't believe that grown men fret over stuff like this. LOL. she assured me that alcantara is just another fabric and they can make it in any color thanks dear. now she's laughing and shaking her head again... screw it. i'll just order the standard red/black seats |

Rick, If you can get them to do black/yellow alcantara just like the black/red, I think that could be amazing looking on a Stradale. The interior is extremely black everywhere else with all the exposed metal and carbon fiber, so I think the big splashes of yellow would work great. However, from my looking at the order system, I think the alcantara only comes in black or black/red. I don't think there is yellow alcantara. You could do the black/yellow with leather, but make sure you get them to match the yellow paint... you don't want some clashing shade of yellow in there. However, for me, I'd rather just go with the yellow stitching than to give up the alcantara material. But then, I actually find the stitching more striking than even the piping. As for it looking like a taxi... yeah, right. You could paint a checker pattern down the side and it would still just scream "winners circle", not "taxi". You'd need to put the rectangular lamp on top with lettering "TAXI" to bring that to mind. |

rick, Whatever decision you make, it will be a stradale! I like the yellow with both the black seats and the red seats. I am not so sure about black and yellow seats. I think it would be too much yellow, or maybe not enough! Imagine yellow with full yellow seats . I think the same would be true of a red car with red seats, although I have not seen the color combo myself. It might be overwhelmingly red. Then again, even an overwhelming color combo on a stradale is expected, because it will be overwhelming to the other senses as well! Good luck! |

rick: do black car, black seats , silver calipers and no fender shields. for what it's worth, if i were getting a stradale, i'd got for the most evocativly menacing color combo i could think of , and in my mid it would be an all black combination; if i could , i'd get the wheels a darker shade of silver, maybe bronze and i surely wouldn't rule out black wheels, either. hi brian, my yellow modena has black seats with yellow piping i love it. but ferrari won't put piping on their racing seats (i've already asked). rather than yellow stitching i'm toying with the idea of going with a black/yellow seat. using the stradale red/black seat as a model picture the seat being black with yellow trim (instead of red with black trim). it might look great. or maybe it will be too much yellow? i'm going nuts |

The 360 (all varieties) looks fantastic in yellow. However, I don't really like the red seats with the yellow... doesn't seem coordinated to me. OTOH, the most striking interior I've seen is black with yellow stitching and/or piping. Just stunning IMO... especially on a yellow car. Except that having a black interior in Texas sounds miserably hot, that interior would be appealing enough to convince me to get a yellow 360 just so I could have that interior!! So, I say: get the yellow stradale, but get all-black alcantara (instead of red/black), and order the yellow stitching. Do not get the stripe (I don't think the fat white stripe looks good on the lighter color paints... I really only like it on black). JMHO. |

hi charles, i traded my yellow 360 in order to replace it with a stradale i like ferraris in red and yellow so i'll keep my red modena and buy a yellow stradale...probably. i keep thinking of that black one with the stripe and red seats! my dealer has told me that they expect one more allocation for a stradale this year. they *think* they will be able to place my order any day now. that's why i'm getting anxious about picking a color i'm going to have to get off the fence any day now... i've heard that black on a 360 does not show off the lines as well as some other colors. but it looks great in the picture i posted doesn't it? but yellow is awesome on a 360...and i *think* that red interior will really make it pop. |

DES - LOL!! Just in time for christmas... green stradale with red stripe and red calipers....ick! Rick, go with your first instinct on this one. Don't let too many opinions affect your decisions... it will be you who will be looking at it on a daily basis in the garage... oh, just a note - if you DO get tired of looking at whatever color you decide on, you can park it in my garage anytime. roberto and david, thanks for your comments. i appreciate your opinions. at first i thought red seats were too much, but it's a stradale so why not jump in with both feet. but i'm not crazy about the stripe on any of the stradales that i've seen...EXCEPT the black. the black looks awesome with red seats and the stripe. i love yellow, but i have to admit that the black one with the stripe looks teriffic! |

It looks great in yellow. To compensate for the red seats, you might have to order the racing stripes! How about blue racing stripes? Maybe red? In any case, I like the seats in red on this car. A stradale is not subdued. |

Rick, The red seats are nice. I would go with them. Black with red piping would be way too subdued for a car of this caliber. But I still think BLACK with stripe, red seats, red calipers. That would be so awesome!!!

i really like yellow so i'd like to order a yellow stradale. but i'm not 100 percent sure i like the red seats with the yellow car. i could order black seats, but since this car is so special maybe i should go with the red seats that ferrari seems to want to put in all the stradales. what do you think?
