I like the body kit, but if i spent 280,000 and had a hard time beating a stock Diablo 6.0, id be pissed. |

---ok, where did they hide the supercharger on that engine ? must be tiny cus I cant find it-- William, there are 2, one on each side of the front of engine, but as Ernesto pointed out, the plumbing is missing. 600 hp from a naturally aspirated 3.6 liter, I think you'd have to spin the bajesus out of it, oven 10k I'd think. It won't live long like that, rpm is not an engine's friend, however good it sounds. With a boosted engine you can easily make make the same 600 hp and still expect 100k miles out of the engine on the street or a season at the track...not just 1 race. I'm not a fan of centrifugal type superchargers because they tend to be pretty peaky, but turbos, screw, or roots blowers are just great depending on the application. I've build quite a few naturally aspirate engines over the years, but I've felt the power of the dark side...if you worship hp, boost is the holy grail, I would never go back |

Sorry Phil but I got this information from Glen Marquis, head of Washington Motorsports who run the F360GT that has won the Grand Am Championship. Could be I misunderstood him and it was 600 even. He said taking the restrictors off was like the difference between sucking air through a straw and a garden hose. He said it was good for at least 150 hp. Just what I heard, and Glen isn't one to exagerate claims. Regards, Jon

650BHP for Michelotto is day dreaming, excuse my frankness. Perhaps 500-525. Horsepower wins friends, torque wins races. |

What's the point, other than it may be street legal. You can buy a Michelotto F360GT for a bit more and have a 650 hp (without the restrictors) factory built 360. Regards, Jon P. Kofod 1995 F355 Challenge #23

I have never understood the appeal of Tuners who COMPLETELY alter the character of the car for the sake of performance. IMO, whacking a great Turbo/supercharger onto a N/A Ferrari engine is the same as buying a new car... It is NOT the same as augmenting the car with a few bits, rims, exhaust etc.... Thanks but I'd rather have an F40. |

Nice set up, low down performance will be at least as good as a std car, so the low pressure system is ideal. Bit concerned about the heat generation from those big curly exhaust manifolds, being so close to the fuel tanks....I bet there's some big ugly heat shield fitted once installed.....hope not. I guess they dont go inside the engine to do the job, but with any boost job you need to take care with head gaskets, and the 360's have stretch studs in the corners of the heads, with non stretch elsewhere...dont know why....but I always fit non stretch all round to be sure, with no detrimental side effects. |

Thanks, Ernesto A pair of small centrifugal compressors with enormous warter/air intercoolers...looks like they left the compression high with boost in the 6-8 psi range. Interesting. Centrifugals tend to make nice peak numbers but nothing down low, I'd love to see a dyno curve. Nice job anyway. |

I think the top preparation goes for 280 000 euros...a bit too much for a 360. |
