One more thing, a big THANK YOU to Tom Sutton for clueing us in to this great showing!

Still can't belive I got to touch an XJR-15. The cabin was just glorious, awash in the finest carbon work I have EVER seen on an automobile, bar none!

Oh, my links are fixed, stupid ftp client! :D)

All our drives are fun, but I think this was one of the best. Nice drive over the Golden Gate Bridge in a 10 car supercar convoy. What could be better than that? What a diverse turnout. Perhaps we could do the Ritz at the next meeting.

I had a great time, guys. Norm, thanks for the pictures. It was really good to meet everyone again, and I really enjoyed getting up close and personal with the XJR-15.

I managed to do some cropping/editing and even a semblance of a write-up. If you would like me to add links or captions, please email me. Here's the link to my pages.

Great drive today! Thanks to everyone who came out to play, and to Faisal for allowing me to ride shotgun (or 'drive' as far as Dan knows!) in his amazing snorting rollicking Cerbera!

The collection was very cool, seeing an XJR-15 in the flesh, next to it's twin sister XJ220 was UNREAL!

When I walked in, I didn't know where to look (oogle) first. Exotica Nervosa perhaps? You got that right doc, but don't perscribe me a thing, and god forbid you cure me!

PS: if anyone would like their plate blanked, I would be happy to do so.

It was nice meeting everyone, I had a great time! How often do you get to chat one on one with a car collector and not to mention let you sit in the cars. The first time everyone got on the freeway felt like a gum-ball rally. Everyone took off like a bat out of hell. It was great!

Hey guys

Nice to meet you all, and thanks for organizing this. Here's some pics at my site:

http://www.cyclesoft.com/Ferrari/Pictures.html

I wasn't sure of protocol with pics, so I blacked out the license plates in the images (although not in the thumbnails, since you can't really see them).

The pics are 800x600, I have the larger originals available (1600x1200 without the license plates blacked out) if anyone wants them.

Not all pics came out that well, (and I forgot to get the beautiful blue Modena, how did I manage to forget that!?) - so that's why not all cars are equally represented - I hope nobody will be insulted! I think you can tell though which car I was a bit crazy for, although there is one interior shot of something which IMHO is the coolest interior I have ever seen!

Hope to see you all again soon, and I will post a sentry at Mike's house to wake him up next time.

Guys,

As you all know, I'm on 2 hours of sleep, so it's naptime.

Overall - great meet today. Good fun, lots of amusing idle banter, AWESOME sounds (with special note to Larry, who, as Lox put it, sounded like he was blowing parts off), great cars, some cool people :-), ahem, oh - and that collection was pretty cool too! :-)

I'd say this has been our best one so far. Of course pictures don't tell 1/10th of the story. That tunnel must have sounded AMAZING near the back end with so many gloriously different cars.

Ok - I'll post later. Must sleep...

The main meeting point is Serramonte gas station 8:30am. A few of us decided to gather earlier at the 280/Black Mountain Road exit at 7:45am to caravan to Serramonte together. 7:45 is probably too conservative, but every time there is a stop it takes some time to get everybody to converge. In the end we will all converge at Serramonte for the larger caravan to Sausalito.

I should be at Serramonte at 8:30 as well. My car was supposed to be done on Thursday/Friday but found out FoSF is keeping it until Monday. So, I am showing up in my p-car. :o

So, is the new plan to go to Sausalito? Remember, it's right around the corner from SF Ferrari!

If so, who's in?

Who will be meeting at Serramonte at 8:30 a.m.?
Thanks Everyone.

Sorry guys,

I have one wife and 2 kids to spend time with. Next week, I am in Japan for a whole week so ... need to give all my personal attention to the spousal and kiddy units this weekend.

The whole day in Marin county by myself is not good. The big daughter may like sitting in the back, but the 2 year-old kid is not going to appreciate the "noise-behind-my-ears" thing.

Catch you guys next time.

Mitchell,
looks like we are going to Sausalito.

Sorry you can't join us. Are you sure you can't persuade your wife to an outing in Sausalito?

GIl,
From 280N, exit at Hickey Blvd. Make a left at the stop light onto Hickey, then a right onto Gellert. The 76 gas station will be on your right on the corner of Gellert and Serramonte.
