I have stopped into this place a few times and it reminds me of the toy store. Nobody knows anything about the cars except to sell them right away, most times sight unseen. The stuff on the floor ranges from pristine to raged out. Maybe the pristine ones are repaired but the place is creepy. I do not stop anymore and I would not recommend dealing with them.

Modman,
No I live in Texas. I guess for a change, I tried to stay nice, focused and professionnal with them. I have to admit that after this post I freaked out, but as you say I may have been lucky on it. Thanks god, this money was for add. maintenance on the real car I got.

Mike you are one of the few who are fortunate to get deposits back, I and another user a while back did not get ours back but the reality is still there. Just curious are you in Florida or near it? You may think nothing of it since you did get your deposit back but for many of the victims, it's different. It's like when you kill somebody you can't bring them back to life, a done deal is a done deal but there is always righteousness and that will come in time.

I need to set it straight: as far as I am concerned, Exotic just reimbursed me. I just had to call them regularly for 2 days and checking on the status of my reimbusment which I asked to be sent back to me via FedEx.

At this point, the grief I have is that I never managed to see pictures or documents of the car discussed for 2 months, then I got pressured to put a deposit, which sat there another 2 months before I backed off the contract and asked for my money back.

Finally I waited 2 weeks and then had to assist them in getting that final step done.
I am happy (maybe lucky as well) that I have my money back, which I will use to maintain my newly aquired somewhere else car.

Mike, this is for the dealer in southern Cali. but this place in Florida has to go down hard for what they've done with peoples deposits and they keep doing what they do best at they can forget about the Florida dream as they will become victims of the state penitentary. I HATE dealers who rip people off, they will all pay dearly in more ways than one. I can't stop talking about this Exotics 4 Less or Wholesale place especially for ripping me and several others probably in the thousands off. They have too much greed for money that they have to do scams, but money is only material that don't last and money is no good when you end up in prison and your name becomes "b*tch".

as Jun said the other day, for this particular dealer, the car was not even there. how can you trust a car salesperson who is trying to sell you an expensive car and he/she has never seen it or have it in their possession? that would not fly with me. and what about the title? thats another issue. trying gertting the title after buying the car.

For all the crap that I hear about this place, why don't we set up a sting. Any cops on this board? We can look into buying a car, send the deposit, and then when they deny everything, we can crush them! We'll record everthing, and so on. It will be the end of them.

I just hate getting ripped off.
Thank you Rob for this board.

Jake, it's a long story the public does not know of. I went to court a few weeks ago in front of the grand jury and I met some interesting people and got to hear a lot of things but I can't say any more about this. All I can say is that I among a lot of people are victims of fraud. I wouldn't mention any further about this for your own good.

Mike, Modman,
you will need to sue. It is a small claims matter and should be dealt with. The longer you wait the more people are getting burned. It will not cost you that much to prosecute. I told you, I will be glad to help you, recommend a lawyer that deals in thse cases daily (a friend of mine) and if you get your case together he will likely be able to give you a break.

The last case I had done was a tenant eviction and it had cost me $ 1,200 when everything was said and done. BTW in small claims your lawyers expenses are covered by the other party! So you are just laying out the money.

contact me if you want to go forward. Don't walk away. I know it is not the end of the world but it is a matter of principle. They continue doing it (as you can see 2 years later with Mike) as long as there are no repocussions (sp?)

I looked up that Lambo dealer on the Better Business Bureau website and it shows that they have NO complaints. Surely, if they are "going down" wouldn't there be some consumer complaints against them? What gives?

Man, don't bring up the bad memories, I've had much worse loss than the $5k but yes by do all means don't even waste time with those crooks. Most of the cars they are selling aren't even available to be seen by them and they are telling everything about it. I am proof of how they do business as they were trying to sell my 348 to another guy and funny how they acted as if they seen and know the car. Unfortunately it would cost me more time and money to try to get my money back as I did some research with some attorneys over here and in Florida. I learned a hard lesson, never ever wire money over, look at the car you're prepared to buy and then be there for the transaction, screw the lowsy faxed papers. Stay away from Vince and the owner, I forgot the owners name but everytime I called he avoids my calls and ignored my messages for months till I had a letter sent to him and he denied everything that ever happened like I never existed. These guys are just as bad as Auto Market down in Costa Mesa who got raided for fraud and soon to be going down is another Lambo dealer in the area but I can't say the name but it starts with a "P". Crooked dealers should go down very hard for their bad doings that hurt others. I would agree if you are going to buy a car from Florida I would at least go to Martin to look at the car first, although I may not know him personally but I believe he can be trusted since there are people on this site who does know him.

If they are serious about dealing with you, and you still want the car, continue the deal with NO DEPOSIT. You could even refer them to the numerous complaints you have seen about them, and tell them if they want the deal and to give themselves back some credibility, it is the only way it can be done. Ive been in their showroom, and they did have a couple decent cars. But 99% of the cars they advertise are owned by other dealers. You can usually look around and find the car they are offering from the clues they give you. That is how i found my Sv. They told me about it, gave me a good price at the time, i found the car at another dealer and cut them out.

Thanks, Thanks, Thanks, Thanks!!! to eveyone for your responses (I feel everyone saved me a lot of agony!). I found all of the feedback on Exotics4Less (thanks for the help Fanatic1) and decided not to continue my deal with them. They had faxed me all of the paperwork and they were really pushing me for a large deposit. I was about to fax back the paperwork when I remembered this resource (F-Chat) and posted (Whew, just in time.) Everyone was great...thanks again!!!

It is Exotic Cars Wholesale and Yes, stay clear of them !!!!

Contact Modman. They still owe him $ 5000.

This is how you lose so much business. Burn one guy and it will potentially cost you thousands of $$$. If they would have done him right they would probably sell you a car, imagine that!

Jun, I just did a quick search.....came up with many threads....since you're new, maybe you weren't using the "search" correctly. :-)
Anyway, I read a few threads, it seemed that many people here HATED them.......terrible experiences.....click on search, then type in exotics4less, match all words and don't forget to change the "how many days".......look in the past 50 days.....many posts come up.

Hope this helps

Jun, I live near Exotics 4 Less and have driven by there many times. However, I have never stopped in. I ended up buying from another dealer before making a trip there. From driving by, and their ad in the dupont registry, they appear to have a nice inventory. Unfortunately, I don't know much more than that.

I was wondering if anyone knows anything about a broker in Florida called Exotics-4-Less. I'm in Callifornia and have been talking to them about an 01 360. Has anyone done business with them or heard anything about them.
