Can everyone who attended this drop me a mail ([email protected]) with their home address? I have a DVD, containing some footage (about 40 mins I think) that I'd like to send you all. I'd pop a "lite" version online, but reg plates are visible and well... some of the driving could be considered a little iffy Cheers guys

Paul the Nikon D2H or D1X are the professional ones, but the D100 is an excellent all rounder take a look at www.nikon.co.uk under 'our products' then 'digital SLR's and see which one is most suitable for your use and I'll get you a price |

You're not wrong Mark - some absolute cracking shots all over his site! Especially the Highland ones. I always promised myself if I got the time, I'd go and buy one of those top cameras and get into digital photography. What a perfect excuse for a hoon up to Scotland |

Still haven't got any pics of my new 360 - I know - I suck. But someone took one at Bruntingthorpe of me braking hard after a 165mph run. Driving it as Enzo intended! http://www.stevecarter.com/bruntingheads03/ph7.jpg |

Joe havn't met him but believe he was at the sports and supercar day at Goodwood last month? is this his? btw with the Donington days I would recommend oyu look at one run by Bookatrack or Easytrack rather than the circuit run days, heard bad reports about driving standards |

Finally had time to get my photos digitised from Saturday's ride-out event but there's too many, really, to put on the board (you'd spend all day loading just my post). So I've stuck them here(a click will open new window on top) in a basic slide show. An excellent day out and massive thanks again to all the guys who stopped to help us out with the 'tangle' (I was in the 328GTS with Marc H) we had with those bikers. Cheers Mike PS got higher res pics if anyone's interested

Thats Great James, Silverstone is always booked and is popular, Donnington Park appears to be the betta option at present. I will make some calls tomo, until then i will attempt to organise a Rideout to Goodwood on 25 October 2003 weather permitting :0). For the record and for all that may be interested I have a Stand at the MAX POWER show London Docklands 29/30 Nov (Ferrari will be on show) may have Comp tickets to those interested??? |

It would be good to meet you guys on the 25th, I'm already booked in, I reckon we may be able ot do a deal with Easytrack and get a few more on. If you turn up on the day, get noise tested first then let's see what can be done. Don;t worry about noise at Brands, unless it's a GP Circuit day they never test for noise |

Joe I am up for a ride out to Goodwood on 25/10. The reason they have the limit set at 105db that day is they limit the cars to 5 on track at a time. Other meets run 10 at a time and hence they reduce the limit to 98db per car. Silverstone and Donington run noisy days and I suggest that we look at these days for our Tubi cars. James |

My mate is on with his Lambos and tells me on the phone a minute ago "what f..king noise test", pissed myself laughing..then he is loaded and dont give a . :0) |

Question, Do Formula 1 Cars come in under 106db???? I think not ...What a load of old B......x Just read that a guy in a BMW M3 passed the noise test and got sent off the track ( Goodwood ) cos hes tyres squeeled on the corners....Whats that all about... Tony, We need a Kwik FIT Fitter to tone down the TUBI Ha !!!!Ha!!!! I may just spend the day then driving around Goodwood area to piss off the Council and theres nothing they can do.... I think???? |

James it appears that Donnington is the only track event that allows no restrictions on particular days. And I thought it was gonna be Straight forward :0(.... The biggest problem is that once you arive at the track, if on that day their equipment reads you at say 108db...you aint going on and NO REFUNDS..MMMMMMMM scratching head hear!!!!!

pls excuse my ignorance, but do you pay upfront for a track day? if the car fails noise test, do you get your money back? my 355 has a de-cat tubi so i can't see it passing many noise tests! [nor yours , joe] tony |

Joe Limit at Goodwood is genrally 98db but they do have some days at 105db. My 355 with std exhaust tested at 102db at 6k rpm until I pulled the vacuum pipe off the exhaust valve then I scraped in at 98db for the static test. They are very strict but will lend, hire, sell noise reduction devices, they do cut power though. Easytrack have a day there on 25th which is a 105db day, only 5 cars on track at once though and I believe it's full brands is 106dB but never been tested there or seen anybody else tested or stopped for noise. places available on 6th November Is Sam back at Easytrack? havn't seen her around for nearly 2 years! |
