And I am leaving 50 kms away ... never bothered stopping by. Good plan for a rainy day.
For those on a tour in the region, the Schlumpf Museum in Mulhouse (France) is quite unique (http://www.collection-schlumpf.com/schlumpf/)

Mick, the Dino was very nice I must say.

All the cars were clean on the outside, while I was there a guy was wiping some of them to get the dust off.

However I was peering into a convertible Aston Martin and there was a thick layer of dust on the dashboard, a sure sign that its just a sad garage queen now.

Apparently very few cars are owned by the museum, most are privately owned and just stored there.

I know I could definitely give a good home to any one of them, especially that Dino, and drive it as it was designed to be driven.

Justyn.

Very nice Justyn,
You managed to take a picture of my 'perfect' Ferrari. The yellow 246GTS Dino.
I have to admit I would auction a lung to own one of these machines. Oh well, one day.
See you soon I hope.
Mick.

The seventh from bottom is a Panther Solo. It never sold in great numbers - you can see more info about this car here:

http://www.panthersolo.com/index2.htm

I don't know what the third car down is though I'm afraid. Maybe someone else here recognises it?

I didn't have much time at the museum as I was having a quick look before flying home otherwise I would have made a note of exactly what each model was as I took the photos.

Justyn,

Do you by chance know what the 3rd from the top (after the daytona) and 7th from the bottom (after the yellow/white corvette) are?

Thank you.

I'm just back from a weekend in Geneva and while there I visited the Muse International de l'Automobile de Genve which is right next door to the airport.

I took some photos although it was very dimly lit inside so they are not brilliant.

It was sad to see how some of these cars had not been driven for years and probably would not be used for the foreseeable future. A couple had developed leaks including one which had a pool of transmission fluid underneath it.

I guess that reinforces the opinion that if the car isn't driven regularly then certain pipes will become hard and brittle and start to leak.

I hope you enjoy these photos, and I'm sorry for the somewhat poor quality :-)

Justyn.
