Well, the real original ones were painted on Alfa Romeos! Signifying the preparation by Scuderia Ferrari team. Only the factory race team used them for many years. Since Enzo passed away, the factory has used them on various special models. 288GTO, F40, F50, Serie Speciale, etc. Everybody else just thinks they look cool, and adds 'em. I prefer the NART logo, myself, in tribute to Chinetti, for North American cars. |

Why do some models have these shields while others (even the same model) do not? I don't think I've seen one up close and wouldn't know if it was authentic or not. What's the significance? Are the "real" ones painted on or are they actual metallic/composite emblems? I think the cars look much better with them...as would my dark green Toyota 4x4. |

I need a couple small vinyl decals (say 1-2 inches tall max). They are going on my 1 yr old son's new pedal car. It has a vintage look to it. I cant find small enough peel-n-stick Scuderias anywhere. Any help appreciated! Greg |
