Collin, I have to agree with the others here. Unless you can buy this cheap to fix & use for track events don't bother with it. It sounds like it has been neglected, which leads to other lurking gremlins. Besides all the trouble and costs associated with fixing & making it 'right', there will be zero resale and you will probably never get back what you're putting in.

Valves do NOT just 'burn' and get 'replaced.'

Teh valve burnt because of bad mizture in that cylinder. WHO KNOWS what other work may be needed? Plan on minimum a new engine IMO.

How is the interior? Beat to hell? RUN, 348s can be found for cheap and in plenty with no stories.

Unless he'll let it go for $10grand of course :D)

Best!

a clean car would bring around $45K to $55K.
deduct $2K for windshield? just a guess.
deduct maybe $7K for miles???
deduct cost of valve job??$2500
deduct cost of 30K svs?? $4500
paintwork deduct? $2500? if no real damage.

That is $18,500. Take a price of $50K and deduct that and you are left with $31,500.

So the real question is can you get the svs done and stuff replaced for cheaper and do you not care about miles? If so then you may have a deal, but if not then why pay the same price to have a fixed up car when you could buy a clean one for $50K?

Your call.

I bet they won't sell it for what this # comes out to. I wouldn't pay more than

Here are the facts:

1990, red w/tan
needs new windshield
one burnt valve - needs valve job
62K miles on odometer
needs full 30K service
paintwork on one quarter panel

Any opinions on fair market value?
