Ken, Because many bread and butter cars use 4 bolts ... and kits cars acquire their components from said cars. Ofcourse it is not a hard and fast rule ... but remember early Lotus's used a lot of Ford parts ... Pete |

Wayne, why would a 4 bolt hub indicate it's not an "exotic"? *Counting 4 bolts on my Lotus* |

Also wanted to add that there's an Italia car for sale at one of the 2 local, authorized Ferrari dealers in my area,Continental Autosports in Hinsdale,IL. It looks VERY cool. Red spider. Not sure about the drivetrain, but,it would certainly be about one of the only ones around,if you strive for originality, and want something that is very cool, and that NO ONE else has! |

Well,I gotta say that I didn't expect such a response! Thanks alot to all of you guys. I really appreciate it! Hey,I never even knew about "Puma" sportscars. Look like ALOT of fun for the money, especially for any young guys who are tired of the some old jap stuff thats out there,or someone who really wants a Ferrari but cannot afford one, this looks like a fantastic alternative. Are these cars available, new? I wonder. Or just made a certain period of time. Would make a nice business oppotunity if they can be sold here(emissions, and all that crap) |

It IS a Puma GTS or GTC, with modifications it looks like...check out these galleries! Brazil makes sports cars too Modifying Puma's is a popular thing to do so I wouldnt doubt the front end of the car from the commercial. Here is one example (note the 4 bolt hubs) http://www.pumacars.com/Eduardo_Figueredo_puma_gallery2.shtml Here is hte gallery with links to more (and better) pictures... http://www.pumacars.com/Gallery.shtml

John B, it's not an Italia, Omega, Griffith, or Torino (all basically the same car). |

Fiat Dino Spider tail with Ferrari Dino front and various custom parts? They probably messed it up pretty badly in order to avoid "reputation damage" claims from the car makers... GRINNNNNN Jack |

Whatever it WAS, it appears to have been kitted-up with a mish-mash of styling cues from various sportscars. A little E-Type here and a little Dino there, etc. Four-bolt hubs indicate it's likely not of exotic origin.

At the end of one of the new,"I'm lovin'it" McDonalds commercials, there's a little red Sportscar, being towed. It kind of looks like,to me,to be a 275GTB,spider conversion, but I can't tell. Does anyone know what kind of car it is? |
