Great story Robert and congrats. I told every dealer 2 years ago I wanted a 6 speed and not the F-1. I have never regretted it. I will always want a stick. There is just something different with a stick. Enjoy |

I don't think I'll go to Roebling road but I have been there before and I really love the track and the town. I need help to post pictures as I have never done it before. I'm lucky to be able to post! |

I think Ferrari really knows how to find the "sweet spot" in their gearing...especially when you redline the car, the upshift keeps you precisely in the powerband.

Does anyone know if FW upgrades are available for 355s too ? Obviously the FW is not the same and some limitations may result from the mechanical characteristics (actuators and such). |

Congratulations! Hope you have lots of winding roads nearby where you can enjoy your new 360.
It seems that the 6-speed has been making something of a come-back. I've seen several posts now where a former F1 owner has decided to switch to a 6-speed.

FYI, I just had my '99 F1 in for a 15K service and they upgraded the F1 software (at no extra cost) and it shifts much smoother than it used to. I for one prefer the F1

Robert, i had a 6 speed and an older F1 360 and all i have to tell you is that the new 03 F1 is much much smoother and better than the old 01 models. enjoy the car. |

Wow!!! What a difference a 6 speed makes in this car. I drove it from Atlanta to Nashville to get it home and what a pleasure it was. The responsiveness is perfect. I previously owned a f1 gear box car and I just didn't like it at all. This car is something that I already know I will grow to really enjoy. Added the louder Tubi yesterday and what a plus it is. So far so good and have no delivery ptoblems either. I'm hoping I have a good car this time. I certainly recommend the 6 speed. |
