Thanks all - sorry - pics - I'm useless aren't I - I don't actually have any yet, BUT, someone else took a picture of the car braking heavily from 165mph at Bruntingthorpe on Sunday.

Paul, good luck with it. Put it in sport mode and give it a try. Not sure if you did that yet.

The throw out bearing problem was with the earlier models.

My 360 was bucky as well and it was a bad throw out bearing in the tranny and was fixed under warranty. If it doesn't clear up, it may be that you have the same problem.

I like it - it is better than I expected. If I had to find a gripe with it, it's a bit 'bucky' off the lights, in fact, 1st & 2nd are generally a bit jumpy, but that's probably more me not being used to the car yet - it is getting much better the more I drive the car. I'm just not used to having such a responsive throttle.

Aside from that, bloody fantastic - the shifts are smooth and very quick, faster than I could shift a manual I'm pretty sure. Haven't tried the Auto mode yet, so can't comment on that.

I keep waiting to hear this bleeping that I've heard so much about because the clutch is getting too hot, but nothing yet and I sat in a fair bit of traffic tonight.

I'm getting used to putting it in neutral when stopped at lights to ease clutch wear - was weird to start with, but definitely got the hang of that now.

For me, it's great and suits me and the type of roads I will take the car on - but it was a tough call - I do miss that lovely aluminium gear lever and the gate, but you can't have your cake and eat it I guess :-)

If you're involved in the UK ride-out thread, my blatant failure to finalise the route is due to demands placed on my time by my company. Don't read any further :-)

If you're not involved in the UK ride-out thread, read on!

Well, I'm knackered, put 400 miles on the car today/tonight. Should probably have been working, but... :-)

It's red (of course - my first Ferrari), red calipers, shields.. er.. standard seats, xenon lights.. that's it really! Oh, and an exhaust note which just... makes.. dribbles... out of all orifices...

Now all I need is one of those Tubi doohickeys!

I know - I suck - who picks up a Ferrari and doesn't take along a digital camera - I will rectify this first thing in the morning!!

Cheers
Paul

From Maranello in Egham, driven swiftly up to Essex. The M25 has never been so appealing...

As for the car? Words fail me. Astoundingly incredible gorgeousness - I can't stop thinking about it.

I'm just sitting here waiting for the traffic to die down - I'm gonna end up driving all night!!

I cannot get the grin off my face!!
