David,

A friend of mine (I found out after I got mine, though), has a 'hookup' to CG stuff. I can find out from him and give you his info?

Where would one find the Fuchs exhaust for sale? I tried the Cargraphic site (http://www.cargraphicusa.com) and it is currently under construction.

Thanks.

The tubi plus Stebro straight pipes on my 575 is delicious.Haven't heard a Fuchs ,so cannot compare them.It is a fairly loud low pitched rumble at idle-at cruising it is not obtrusive at all and when the throttle is stepped on,it is a delight.
No droning,vibrations etc.

Fuchs (aka CarGraphic). This thing is, no doubt, the best sounding exhaust you can get on a Maranello. The tubi is very overbearing down low, but becomes stock-quiet above 3k. At idle, it's obnoxious. At around 2k, it resonates inside the interior.

The CG, however, is absolutely glorious. Don't take my word on it, ask anyone who has heard the car, though. Inside the car, windows up, it's noticeable, but it's not too loud. Very very sweet sounding basso profundo. Windows down, or behind the car, it's got a sweet noise.

Good low-end rumble, good mid-range punch, and GREAT high-end scream. Honestly, it's the way to go. That's why I fear that the Stebro+CG might be too much, because the CG is near perfect. The best part about the CG: it's actually quieter around 2500 rpm than anywhere else, which is right where I'm cruising when not on it.

Guys,

What do you think is the best sounding exhaust for the 550? How do some of these others compare to TUBI?

Thanks.

Dave - didn't realize you were in Austin. If I swing by, I'll give you some heads up. Beer's on me! :-)

I'll definetly give SW a ring.

If I recall, Martin has one? Anyone else? A) curious as to how you find the sound holding up so far? Any droning, vibrations/resonance in the cabin, etc? Fuchs exhaust has been perfect.

B) Where did you order it from? Is there a particular dealer I should be contacting?

Dave: If I recall, SW has Fuchs + Stebro? If so, I'd love to hear his car. I'll be in Houston for about a week, 3-4 days on each side of Halloween.

PS: I'm an idiot. $575 from Stebro direct.
