I did it in stages. Sorry my dyno sheets are in the shop and it is raining. You can search on here and find my postings. Everything was done in steps, dynoed before and after. The only chip I found that actually made more HP was Carobu Engineering. That crap chip from florida actually produced LESS hp than stock, and NEVER use that junk brass bypass valve! The Tubi helped, I use a full comp set up with no cats. The K&N filters, only 1 or 2 hp. LM Turbo's with Carobu chips, about 40 hp. We have gone as far as you can go and still enjoy driving it on the street, you can make more HP, but you will HATE it on the street. |

Chris, How much boost are you making? Did you add the Tubi then the turbos or all at once? Is 478rwhp with Cats or a test pipe? TIA, Rick |

rear wheel hp is about 400hp stock. My F40 makes right at 482hp at the rear wheel with LM turbo's, chip's and a Tubi. |

Rick, I read your post on the Technical section as well and figured people should have some context. Here: http://www.ferrarichat.com/discus/messages/112/324894.html?1065746528 --Dan |

488 flywheel equates to about 416rwhp, when taking into account a 15% drivetrain loss. But, I have heard that Ferrari under-represented their HP numbers with the F40, and that the advertised flwheel numbers were VERY close the the actual rwhp. And regarding the boost, I don't think it was much. I think I remember reading something like 6psi....but I'm probably wrong on that. |

Sorry if you already read this,I posted this on the tech side and never really got an answer. Does anyone know how much rear wheel H.P. an F40 should make? How much boost is Normal? Thanks, Rick |
