The Hezemans team entered a Pagani in the Le Mans 24 Hours.

The car was by FAR not race ready and gave up the ghost in lap 11 or so.

Still an impressive machine.

$300K is a steal if it is really available and with the 7.3L engine (there were 7.2L and probably 6L models available in the past). I just had a nice cruise with the Zonda hardtop in my 456 this morning and the performance of this exotic is awesome. I reckoned only 50 roadster will be made and 25 hardtop had been made and sold.

There are great cars there. I have a friend in Germany who tells me it's 80% real. The other 20% are consignment cars not on the premises, just being represented by them. I called them up a few months ago to ask about the 6 McLarens they were advertising. Only 2 were on the floor. But that's still more than any other showroom in the world.

The Pagani has been around for a while. I think you are seeing the roadster version for the first time, right? That is indeed new, and I think only 25 will be built, of which 3-4 have been delivered so far. I don't think there's any Pagani roadsters at Auto Salon.

There's a Pagani in the US that's not supposed to be here. The Feds are on the trail, and the owner has put it up for sale for under 300k. A little birdie told me.

There was a texas Collector who was caught up in the big Savings and Loans deal back in the 80's He was BIG in to Ferrari's and I am trying to trace where they went after he went POOF
But check out this car and tell me if it looks like the real deal

There was one at Lime Rock two years ago. Its got an awesome Mercedes-Benzini motor in it and YES, that bundle of exhaust pipes is wild. I think it was silver. At the time we were told it belonged to a person who I have recently seen here on FC.

I saw it at Goodwood too... I love that high up central four pipe exhaust cluster. I pity the pedestrian who chooses to cross the road behind it!

The Pagani Zonda was even featured in an episode of "The amazing race" when the contestants visited Northern Italy. As they announced a ride in an exotic sports car, I was all exited thinking Ferrari. But no.

There was also a Pagani at Goodwood this year. The car looks even better in real life. The hottest is the rear view, looks more like a rocket engine.

Hey.
I came across a pretty cool site - they have "almost" all Ferrari models - in different color.
Check it out - just click on the british flag, (this is a german site)....you figure it out.
