Thats an awesome car you have over there Armen!

I think it's one of the best looking Ferraris ever. I would love to hear it in a video clip...!

Good work!

Armen- if you do not mind disclosing, approximately what was the cost of this one-off effort? Quite allright if you'd rather not say, I am just idly currious.

Also, do you know what other technical differences there may be? (re-maped control system, etc?)

Lastly, I think I'm going to buy some Pirelli stock, you must be tearing them up! :D)

Best!
Ben.

That's incredible Armen! I would love to take a Gander at the car also! I live in Irvine & I love Newport Autosports! I was looking at the red 328 there a month or so ago - Timothy the salesman was very helpful.

Armen-
Sorry if I was unavail. to hook up w/you for the USGP tape. I still have it and Anthony has no problem with you getting it.
Like the turbo project, LOVE the GTO. Always have, it was like a magnet for me when I came into N.A.
I took some awesome Digital video on-board in ANthony's F-40. We put an auxiliary mic in the engine bay and I got some tasty footage with sound that give you goosebumps. If you would like to do the same in the GTO, I would be down for sure.
Ring me and we can hook up.

It's a great upgrade because it's close to bolt-on and the new turbos are ball bearing = quicker spool = more torque (especially at lower rpm) = more fun!

Armen- this is great news! I can't wait to have this done once I get my GTO!

You are a pioneer, I haven't heard of this being done yet (and it's a great use for all those F40 guys going to 'LM' spec turbos. Hey, there's an idea, wonder what LMs would do on a 288... Probally ingest little things right off the road. Like trucks and Beoing jets..)

If I ever make it to Newport Autosport, I will make a point to talk with you about this exciting project! (uh, yeah, and beg for a ride too :D)

We need video now!

Best!
Ben.

Here are some pictures. I hope I took them of the right things???? (I'm not to technical!). They didn't add larger intercoolers. It did not need them. Also, It already has high performance pistons. I'm probably putting out around 40 to 50 horses more with the combo.
Jordan, I won't be around this weekend. Probably next weekend I will be out in it. I'll let you guys know. I'd love to share this with you guys. Upload

WOW !! Just reading that put a big smile on my face! I wish I lived "local" as I would gladly PAY to get a ride in a GTO! How often do you hear of a GTO that's been modified for more performance (like they need it!) That is great Armen....

I've thought about what happens if the F40 turbos (or LM turbos) were stuffed into the GTO. Did you add larger intercoolers as well? Dyno figures?

I just pick up my 288 from F.A.I. I had F40 Turbos put in. INCREDIBLE!!!!! It is so fast! I highly recommend it. One of my turbos seized. I couldn't find a set anywhere. So I went for it. Rod said it was fairly simple to do. He had to change some plumming. It runs alot better. Only problem is can't keep traction. If anybody local ever sees me driving, ask for a ride. It'll give me a reason to go fast.
