Norris, the 348 uses the 9006 and the 355 shouldn't be any different. An H-1 high performance filament bulb won't last long and I've not found one that can last long enough worthwhile. HID IS the BEST way to go and for me it's the only way to go, any high wattage bulb will not only burn hotter and possibly melt your stock wiring, the filaments get broken easily from the high wattage heat, HID is more efficient and uses less wattage. No matter what high output filament bulb there is out there even though the kelvin numbers claiming to be 6000k or so, they will never perform the same as an HID lampset in the same kelvin temp. All I can say if you go cheap you get cheap and nothing but headaches and a ton of money wasted replacing blown bulbs more often than liked. The one I would recommend for the performance and money is the Evolution 8000k superwhite with Japan made ballasts and are very reliable than most of the ones I've tested and sold. The installation is a little tricky getting behind the housing so that is why a D2R bulb is not recommended for fitting. The Evolution HID would be your best bet. Just email me if you need more info.

Modman,
I thot the 355 uses a H1 bulb. Is there a difference between the Euro spec (my car) and the the US spec?
Do you have a website that show your products?
Thanks

Modman,

What system (high end & quality)of yours would you recommend for the 355? What is the cost and approximately how difficult is the installation?

They don't have much of a selection. I carry an even larger selection than they do and Phillips is considered a low grade system. I have ones that put out 8000k and all varieties that put out different color. The systems I sell start at $300 on up. The hi low is basically a solenoid that pushes the cover in and out but for the 355 it uses a 9006 type bulb and it's very hard to put a D2R type bulb in it in the HID so there is another type available which I also do carry. The Japanese type ballasts are more reliable than the Phillips or the ones made in China.

They'll have all you need including HID's for the round driving lights.

I wouldn't mind knowing if anyone's done Xenons for a 550 either. Again, the full kit, not just bulbs.

Where can I get a good complete set of Xenons for my Euro 355? Mac Motorsports whom I use to deal with prevously doesn't seem to contactable. Their website www.machid.com (advertisment October Forza, page 92) doesn't seem to work.

Anyone done Xenons for their 355? I mean the real kit with ballast and all, not the plug-em in blubs.

thanks,
