I've got a 47mm from Team Voodoo and love it, but I always thought the original was kind of small. |

Frederick -- the 50mm "magnum" knob I got from www.TeamVoodoo.com fits nicely if you have a larger hand. I do, and it feels good, but I ended up putting back the 47mm Voodoo knob, since that's the size used in 355s and 360s and still feels good... but not too big for when I let others drive the car. When I had carbon fiber shift knobs made to my specs for Ferraris, I chose to have them made in 47mm, and actually, THAT's what I now have on my 308QV.

Frederick, All of the later cars - 355, 360, 550, 575 etc use a knob that is 47mm diameter. As Jerry said, we tend to find that the 47mm knob fits better in a smaller hand than the 50mm. It's all down to personal preference. I have a 50mm on my 348 as I feel the 47mm is too small!! Jerry - I just replied to your email saying that the 47mm was shipped out as per your instructions. Frederick- Here is what my receipt says : Product : Quantity : Price Gear Shift Knob Bright Chrome - Black Infill,Type 2 Knob (5 Speed) - 50mm : 1 : 29.95 Subtotal : 29.95 Shipping : 8.95 TOTAL : 38.90 Those prices are still in British Sterlings. My Visa got charged $66.48 US. This is a good site if you ever want to do currency conversions : http://www.xe.com/ucc/ Looking at the receipt, I wanted 47mm, so not sure if I will get the right one or not.

Thanks for the the response Jerry. Thats what I was thinking I would go with, it just seems like it will be so much bigger then my original. BTW how much does that work out to cost in US$? |

Frederick - Mine is in the mail - Paul Hill said the 47mm works better for people with smaller hands - I am only 5'8", so that is what I went with. |

I am wanting to order a new shift knob for my 308. They have two choices for sizes 47mm and 50 mm. Both seem like they will be a lot bigger then my original knob. It seems that even if I go with the 47 mm that it will be to big. Has anyone put a 47mm on and if so does it look ok? |
