I have the shop manual in PDF format, and that helped somewhat. It is pretty straightforward overall, with no surprises. The hardest part is leaving the exhaust tips level so they look good.

I have taken lots of photos (although not a step by step guide). You can run a search on this site to find them.

How long did it take you the first time?
Did you have any manuals or instructions - or was it self-evident?

Maybe next time you could take some pics.

I installed the Tubi and cat pipes myself on my 360. Very simple and straightforward, and I am not a mechanic. I've had to do it three times now, and the last time I did not remove the bumper.

Did you purchase the Tubi package from the dealer or another source?

Phil work was done at an authorized dealer.

Typically they quote 2 1/2- 3 hours labor to install the exhaust. Labor is $95 per hour. The Tubi is around $2900-3200 depending where you buy it .

How would a Tubi sound on a 308qv? Will it have the high F1 sound?

Phil,

Scuderia System carried out the work in the UK for me.

While the guy there "MANU" isnt a Ferrari UK agent he is the next best thing. The cost was nothing like you guys are kicking around.

Did you folks have it done at a Ferrari dealer or an independant service shop?

I knew FWash was high, but that's really pushing it don't you think?

Nick

On inspection it looks real easy conversion, But you need to remember that the bumber and rear section on the 360 includes the under section of the car, aligning the exhast, and replacing the sensors are all part of the job.. not a Job for the faint hearted...

Installation on a 360 usually requires removing the rear bumper although some of done it without doing so.

$4300 for purchase and installation of Tubi is about $1000 more than what you should pay.

Question: Is the installation of the Tubi exhaust something pretty straight-forward that could be accomplished by a mechanically adept owner? Or does it need to be done by the dealer.

Ferrari of Washington is charging $4300 for this.

hi,
I was on the ride out with joe this weekend and I can attest that his spider with Tubi sounded absolutely incredible. There was an instantaneous scream every time he blipped it. I could have sworn I was following a Formula 1 car when going along these country roads. I have straight pipes only Tubi on my 550 and love it but was just stunned by the difference between the 550 and 360.

Anyone who hasn't heard that Tubi sound on a 360 should definitely check it out.

Ditto. I love my spider with the Tubi and only wish there were tunnels in Florida to enjoy the scream and overruns.

As the guys that went on the ride out on Sat 11 will of heard this new exhaust has changed the sound of the car completely from that of the stock item.

I wasnt sure at first if I could live with the loud HOWL that is constantly produced, but after just two days and listening to the stock sound at the weekend theres no going back.

I went into central London today to blast out some of the tunnels and narrow roadways in the Central, many other drivers asked "is that a formula 1 engine in that Car" of coarse I told them the truth and said " YES" with the biggest grin all over my face. Anyway I would like to thank MANU at Scuderia Systems who fitted the exhaust very quickly and with no problems at all.

If anybody is thinking about buying one of these exhausts id have to say "what are you waiting for" the cars not complete without one.
