So, it's not a Ferrari; it's a Dino! |

It's alive and well. It was racing at the Historic Challange at LRP this summer. It's now owned by Mr. Stroll. |

This is the same Dean Martin, Jr., that wasted approximately $30 million of my tax dollars modifying a military jet by flying it into San Bernadino Mountain just north of March Air Force Base? Yes? Jim S. |

No. The 412P's were customer cars without the Fuel injection, there are several. There is only one P3/4 and 3 P4's of which only one is basically original. |

No. He modified it extensively. Note rad exit for example. He made room for his feet. He also remade the body and modified the chassis and didn't route the water throught the chassis as well. Wayne posted a scan of the article I believe. The engine was detuned but not changed. It has been put back. Sort of. |

My recollection of the car is alittle thin, but in the Classic Car article, the vehicle had its original engine during its testdrive for the magazine - also, the car was for sale at the time. Not knowing actual production figures, this car model is rarer than the 330 P3/4 series, no? Dino Jr. had the car modified for US street use! How cool is that? |
