the house that michael is pictured next to is the home where enzo lived out his later years. his office was in this same building along with the office of his secretary. originally, his office was the left side of the front gate. i have a photo taken of enzo just before his death with an f-1 car, a testarossa and a 328(i believe). the photot is the last "official" enzo ferrari photo. just to the right of the 575 is a storage garage which housed several of the of the older race cars.

as for schumachers dailycar, i would think he would stick to a simple, inconspiculous vehicle that would create problems for him to come and go with as little fan-fare as possible. afterall, why draw attention to yourself on a daily basis? god knows he has the vehicles to do that if he so wanted.

Kenny,

I realized what happened because it happened to me too: for some reason, the FC script added in this part at the beginning which messed up the whole link, which is why I had to copy it in as text.

Kenny,

His link works, you just need to cut off the first part. Here:

A while ago DC Motors had a 550 for sale that was said to have been Schumi's car.

It was a black/red colour combination

see photo

unusual colour accents but still nice

Then there was the 456M bicolore by Scaglietti, shown at Geneva 2002. But probably he did
not drive it that much because it's for sale now

he's got : a maserati spyder F1; 550 ; 575 ; fiat 500 (gift from mr. montezemolo); lancia estate, and i'd wager that he's also been given/sold an enzo by now (as the source above is a bit dated).

Ze Shark,
that's one of the buildings on the Fiorano test track. There's an old Italian jet just behind the camera.

I heard of Bentley and Rolls Royce in his garage. I think, a Lancia or FIAT van will also have place there. Daily driver Ferrari is a 550/575.

Michael was also owner of a F40.

This is not the house he lives in (Vufflens-le-chteau). Might be the new house he purchased near Gland by the lake, but I believe he did not move in yet.
Apparently the Titanium 575 has mutated to Argento ? Can't blame him for not showing off the 156 GTA, but I know for a fact that one was delivered to him.

Before driving for Ferrari, Schumacher owned a yellow Bugatti EB110. Not sure if it was a GT or an SS. It was quietly sold when he joined Ferrari.

A few years ago didn't they present him with an F-50 at one of the races when he won. I think I remember something about that, I remember seeing him beside it. It was yellow.

I would love to see his car collection. Obviously has one of the Enzo's in his garage, and I bet his name is on the list for the Maserati Sedan...Quatroporte? I wonder if, in his contract, it states of any cars he CANT drive, due to lack of team interest ie. BMW or Mercedes. That would just be stupid though.

If I were M.S. in addition to the many Ferrari's in my collection, I would have an '04 Range Rover for bad driving conditions, and a 2+2 Vanquish, with that extra room for people or luggage or grocery bags :-)

Doesn't he have a yellow 550 barchetta? Apparently it attracted too much attention.

There was an article in Autosport last year that said his real eveyday car (family use, shoping etc.!!) was a modified M-B Estate but with the silly AMG (or Brabus) V12!!! (200mph+)

I heard that one of the Ferrari cars that he is supposed to get every year is one complete F1 car that he drove (to a win, perhaps) in that season.

His contract calls for him to receive two new Ferraris (his choice) every year...not that he cannot get something else.

BUT, would you??

Has Shumacher's daily driver ever been discussed? I would assume he would have his pick of any Ferrari he wanted. But, does he choose to drive a Ferrari around knowing any Ferrari will attract considerable attention everywhere it goes. Would a nice S-Class or Bimmer actually be a better choice? How about Corinna?

Obviously Michael bleeds Scuderia Scarlet, but is a Ferrari a feasible choice for a man that seeks solitude away from the track?

Just curious
