The event is being put on by The Pacific Region of the Ferrari Club of America. You should register with Mr. Peter George to attend.
Sincerely,

top notch facility at THill and one of my all time favorite tracks (for the dozen or so that I've been to). The people in Willows are great too. Heck, I can't believe I remember that place and how much I got to know several people in that town in the two days I was there. Of course, there's "King", a guy who is retired and has a machine shop in his garage. Then there's... oh darnit, I can't remember the welder's name who allowed me to use his drill press to get some sheered bolts out of a rotor down across the tracks on Tahema... ahh, the memories.

I miss Thunder Hill, and people in Willows really welcomed the gear heads. The auto parts store would open up in the middle of the night (call them at home) if you needed parts to get back on the track the next AM. I still belong to the NorCal Shelby Club, which you probably know put a bit of money into the facilty. I hope you gentlemen have a great time at the track.

The only change I'm aware of since '01 is the recently cut-away hillside on the inside of T3. They pulled a ton of dirt out of there, so the runoff is essentially flat now. Makes an already safe track even safer!

I hadn't planned on attending, but a contact at FofSF is Evan Shone, [email protected] (415) 380-9700.

Have they made many changes to it? I ran it back in '01 and loved it. For a novice like myself, it was a fantastic place to learn.

Dan, Don't know, but it is being put on by FoSF, not the Ferari club. Maybe just for their clients, a phone call can't hurt. I'll be there in the 355. Hope to see you there, Thunderhill is a great track now.
