ebay does not contact law enforcement except in wildly egregious cases (eg: people trying to sell their kidneys, children, etc.).

it's a crime.

ebay and paypal deserve each other.

Well, Ebay finally shut the guy down!

Please be advised that the following auction:

2438192334 - Ferrari : All Models

was ended early by eBay. The auction was ended due to the account suspension of the seller.
All results for this auction are null and void.

Regards,
Customer Support (Trust and Safety Department)
eBay Inc

So I sent this to Ebay :

He is still trying to get me to wire the $. Do you just end the auction or do you notify law enforcement officials. I would like to know.

Beause he keeps thinking I am lame and will wire him $!!!:

Richard, how fortunate! Out of 10 bidders ready to wire him $400K, he has taken a liking to you and given you preferred ranking. Sounds like you should act quickly!

I emailed him and asked for a copy of the title and here is his response. Remedial English would seem in order!

my Bank has the title and as soon a down payment of $400,000 is made, they will send you all the paper's and the contract.you must sign all paper's and the contract, send them back to my Bank.keep copies for you and than we will meet and go to my Bank and finish business.after that the Enzo will be your's....please let me know and send me all your information so my Bank will prepare the paper's...i have nine other people that are ready to transfer the money and if you really want this Enzo than you must transfer the money monday morning.i will send you my Bank info's if you agree to my terms....thank you

I responded I would wire the $ (yeah right!) as soon as a price is fixed and he sends me wiring instrux. Maybe we could all wire him $1 to help make bail!

We will see if he is for real. I just bid 750k. They are trading for $1.1m to $1.3m in the secondary market. I doubt he lets it go for that. He has no reserve so a straw bidder will pop up. Either that or he wants me to wire 400k and he goes poof. Then I will have to alert the FBI about ANOTHER scammer on EBAY. I bought a 355 off Ebay two weeks ago that someone else tried to sell me and did not own it! I wound up tracking the real owner down and bought it from him! I did provide the FBI with the scammers "suite" address (mailboxes etc) and his wiring instructions he sent me urging me to wire 50k to hold the car. Yeah right pal. We will see.

I wonder if I get the Enzo for 750k he will throw in the autographed pic of Priscilla Presley he bought on EBAY!

it's the factory protoype, pics are the ones done for the magazines at fiorano, even has Benuzzi behind the wheel, another reason to dump E-bay stocks before they end up getting regulated to death!

Was surfing Ebay and came across this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6212&item=2438192334

The buy it now price seems to be below the retail price (which I thought was around $650,000)

Is this for real??? It's hard for me to believe.
