My 01 just had a throw-out bearing problem fixed. After 16K, 8 track events, more than a few dragracing starts, I lost reverse and suddenly had high rpm clutch slippage. Reverse problem traced to bad switch and the clutch slippage traced to a throw-out bearing that was malfunctioning. Amazingly, the clutch itself was less than half worn. All replaced under warranty-nice. |

I had my '99 in for the 15k major service and during it they upgraded the F1 software. It now shifts smoother. Not that I had any problems with it before

Not sure when the update occurred, but I am sure it was before my car... my F1 is great... my car was built Jan 2000. |

Sorry to ask this again an early 2000 360 will have already some of the 1999 F1 transmission problems resolved ? which build month exactly did the update occur |
