Had mine done about a month ago at FoSF. No problems, all new hardware and seat belts. FoSF is a top notch place to have it done at. Actually around here that's the only place. Another reason I'm lucky to live in the Bay Area. | ||

Had mine done at WWofCars. Since then, I had to redo the weather stripping around the door because they did a poor job installing it, and had to clean off the greasy fingerprints on the leather around the door jamb and on headliner  Since installation, the seatbelts have malfunctioned several times, but after turning the car off and restarting it, they have come back on line. Hope yours fares better than mine. David | ||

I had mine done.....no problem!!!!! You do get new weather stripping around the whole door. | ||

I had mine done back in the spring at Lake Forest Sports Cars, I have not had any problems. Like you, I never had any problems with the old system, but I felt I was on borrowed time. The new systems acts like it's a lot more substantial, hard to explain, just the way the mouse runs seems more solid. Ferrari is giving the dealers something like 6 hours to do the job, every car was taking longer than that, some of them a lot longer- there were cars with the seats when I took mine in that were still there a week later. Sending my 512TR in this week. Any issues I should know about? Is the new system noticably better? My original system has been trouble free. |
