Bruce ,what i mean is that sometimes they look down at you just because they are selling a Ferrari or a Porsche or any luxury item.In today's world , you cant tell someone's banck account state by just looking at them.. and to those pple , doing what Allan did, must feel good  | ||

Some dealers are fools. Awhile back i wanted to drive a 348, pulled up in my Porsche and the dealer just gave me the 348 for the day. At another dealer, pulled up to look at a Nsx for my wife in her company Taurus. The sales manager would not let us drive it, without pulling my credit report. We left, came back with my wife in my Diablo, me in my Countach, told the sales manager to go F!ck himself, gave my card to several sales people, of which 3 of them came to work for me in the coming weeks. | ||

I took the trip down to Baystate today to take a look and hopefully test drive a 91348ts they have in stock. I had been in contact with them last week by e-mail so they knew I was interested and told me to come down. When I got there I was told that I wouldn't be able to test drive the car unless I made a commitment to buy it,which I refuse to do so needless to say I was disappointed, especially after driving three hours specifically to see this car! I explained to him that I wanted to drive diffrent models in the 8cyl. series before I made my buying decision and that I wouldn't be buying right away. He told me that when I was ready to buy he would let me take what he had available for a test drive. I did however get to sit in a white 348ts they had and I found it quite roomy and comfortable. I wasn't too crazy about the gauges however I never cared much for that style I prefer the 308 gauges. So the hunt continues, this is actually the first time I have ever been refused a test drive so I don't think I will be doing business with this dealer. |
