The front doesn't appear too bad...fiberglass so it can be fixed. It appears as though the rear valance was cut to fit the exhaust, that bottom pice in PDF should go all the way under the exhaust. (Which is not a Tubi BTW...) Here is a Tubi equipped Mondial T.

Hi Mr. Wapinsky, No direct experience with Mondial T but when purchased my 328 (similar rear grill) did have slight tweak in it. Even to my eye now indiscernible. Grill is made of aluminum. I was able to remove mine & *very* carefully (using wooden blocks in vise) press straight again. You might be successful in straightening sections, but unfortunately the broken welds aren't going to repair with superglue. You *might* get lucky with JB weld but expect cosmetics will suffer & you'll probably have to repaint. Didn't take any pictures of my work but drop me an email ([email protected]) and I can take you through step-by-step. If you insurance will cover ("collision with roadbed") would order a replacement ($$$). Best of luck,
Carl |

Same thing happened to me on my M3. Radiator, front spoiler, paint job, and $4000 later... |

This is the front where it went under: This is the rear, one can see where the bottom has been moved to the left. The bottom attach point has broken loose. The entire bottom right is moved out about an inch. One can see that the bottom has been moved to the left. All three attach points on the left have broken loose: The previous owner said that it had an aftermarket exhaust, but he did not know if it was a Tubi. From the opening it appears the origional Ferrari exhaust had two pipes on each side. I am trying to get the government to pay to fix it. |

I seem to remember that some insurance make a big deal on coverage about what was lying in the road vs. what fell off a vehicle(or was kicked up by another vehicle). |

Notify the city. If there were any other complaints, they might pay up for repairs. Notify your insurance company as well. A friend of mine hit a 'gator' with his XJR here in Burbank, CA and did about 5k in damage (lower rad hose, rad, mounts, labor, bumper cover, paint, tow, loaner, tax, etc). All of it was covered by the city since he was lucky enough to have pieces stuck in his bumper and the engine. Good luck! If the city was notified you might have a chance. You might be able to skate this with the insurance company, however, you blew probably whatever 'freebie' you had depending on the company. Sunny |

Take a picture of the damage if you can...if it is the lower rear valence, then it may be able to be gently bent back into shape. Otherwise, call Steve Harris and get a price and then check into T Rutlands as they may have new or used available. - JMG |

On the way back from Alignment Specialists, going down I-15 in SLC, the pickup truck in front of me snaked a little to avoid something. Then in front of me was the remains of what appeared to be a tractor and trailer retraid tire (I hate retraids - I think they are a safety issue to the vehicle they are on and to other vehicles). There were vehicles left and right, so there was no place to go. There was a thump as I ran over it. When I could stop, I could see no damage except for the rear. There is a black grill on the lower rear. The tail pipes go through the lower bottom of it. There is about a 1/4 inch dent on the right middle. There are vertical supports. The middle three are now slanted about 10 degrees to the drivers side as they go down. The right side of the grill is moved back about an inch. The bottom attach point on the grill on the right is broken. The three attach points on the left are broken. I will try to bend it back and super glue it. If this does not work, what is the best place to buy a replacement? About what do these cost? |
