The still make the S-O2... but not the S-O2 Pole Position.
I still think the S-O2 Pole Position had the ultimate water-flushing tread... I was always amazed at the puddles I could fly through without hydroplaning.

Do they still make S02?? I love the thread pattern.

I remember that S03 does not come in 295/30/18??

I have tried a few different brands but always gone back to the PZeros. Short tire life but what fun on the way. Excellent in the wet and dry, and I have tracked them on my 360 with great results.

Of course nothing compares to the PZero slick....

I have had on 2 550s the P Zero, the Bridgestone, the Michelin Pilot Sport and the Goodyear Fiorano. The P Zero may be the stickiest, but on this big and heavy a car, it feels mooshy; the Michelin was too hard. I don't have a particular feeling, good or bad about the Bridgestone; the Goodyear seemed to stick almost as good as the Pirelli, but tracked better, was not as noisy and was slightly harder in feel. This may all be subjective, and not borne out by statistics or science, but FWIW...

Dr Shelbee: For the most part , every michelin product is overpriced v. it's performance and value. the only exception to this empirical rule is the michelin pilot sport cup tire (but even here it's edged out by the hooiser), which for all intents and purposes, is a competition tire.
at any rate, i don't know your geographical 'hood (NW if i remember), but the s03 will be substantially better in the wet, and dry (from my experience), and the s03 tends to get grippier as it wears (added bonus), and is usually a few $$ less v. the comprable michelin product (and you'll support the factory tire sponsor). regards.

Pilot sports are hard noisy tires. The S03's test out real well in the wet against other tires in several different comparison tests. They are also quieter and ride better.

The S-O3 Pole Positions are great in the wet... in fact, that's what they are "known" for... so, I am not sure how much better the Pilot Sports could be. I've got S-O3s on both my 911 and my M3 and love them.

I think the Michelins will be better, only because they are better in the wet. But they suck on track compared with the S-03, if that is important to you.

Will it be better with Michellin Pilot Sports or Bridgestone S03 for the 550?? The purpose for all year around, non-snow condition. Wet and dry traction.

Anybody had some experience??

Appreciate some share thought and pro/cons
