While I was at a light, I noticed that my water temp had gone very warm (halfway between 195 and 250); higher than I'd ever seen it. It's not that hot here today and I wasn't running the car really hard.
As I took off from the light, I noticed the temp guage slowly dropping, and then it suddenly moved to a very cool reading. I checked the guage at the next red light, but it had planted itself at right at about normal (6 o'clock) and really didn't budge.
Stuck themostat? Also, I have been noticing a wiff of antifreeze lately, but hadn't seen any on the garage floor. Related?
