The Friday event he's referencing is probably the Concorso Italiano. |

A brief answer: Ferrari is celebrating 50 years in America throughout 2004. Pebble Beach Concours is featuring the 100th Anniversary of Rolls Royce and Ferrari. Historics will feature Ferrari as they have every 10 years. Ferrari Club of America will have their annual meet just after Pebble Beach Sunday and is planning to end Thursday with a Ferrari Challenge race at Laguna Seca. You can get a schedule, register and monitor progress at www.fca2004.com. There is a link on that site for the national FCA site and some regions, so you can join. My experience is the FCA is more active in most of the US than the Ferrari Owners Club based in Southern California. Others may have different experiences. Not sure of any plans for a Friday concours, as most volunteers don't have the time!

I am way out of the loop on this. I know Ferrari is the featured marque at the historics. i also heard that they are going to have their own concours on friday at a seperate location? After the Monterey weekend is over, there is a week long convention? I also would like to join the Ferrari club. Are there more that one? If so, which is the one to join? |

I believe there are some details to be worked out, but the latest plans call for Monday driver instruction (if not participating in the rally) with Skip Barber instructors, Wed full track day and Thurs track in between Challenge Races. Bring your car, there will be lots to do and see. For specific track information, email: [email protected] |

So, if there's effectively 4 or 5 classes (counting the mixed in races) how many sessions does each driver/car get each day? (Gotta decide whether to transport just me and my wife OR transport me, my wife, and my Stradale.) |

William H is correct. I belive that FNA wants to have a Ferrari Challenge race on the last day, Thursday. They are celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Ferrari in America.

BB they will have 3 classes, 1) Beginers 2) intermediate 3) Advanced + they will probably have some wheel to wheel racing with the Challenge cars & maybe some Historic racing, pre 1980, divided into cars with disc or drum brakes |

Hi, Do any FCAer's know how the national meet track events are run? Do they actually have wheel to wheel races you can join in? Do they have time trials only? Is it an open track event with non-teched street cars? Is it only parade laps around the track? Do they group races like get all old 355 challenge cars in one race etc? |
