Cool pictures. May I have a ride in your car, too?

Rob & I are happy camper at the Hooters here, where the home of Miss. Hooters 2003. Forgot her name, but she's very friendly as she often sits on my lap to take an order (she only does that to me, not anyone else!!!) Yes, I am a dreamer.

Rob, my graphics guys in Houston are great.
Hightech Signs on Heights Blvd.

They've done my carts and Ferrari and speedboat.
Known 'em forever.

There's a 355C in Autoweek, have you seen it?
I'm thinking about that one. $82K.

Impressive. So what do you need to do to get her next to 'our' car posing like this? A heated garage? You raised the expectations of your sponsors, pal.

www.sportbikehype.com Company started by a few guys, one a SRX7 racer Jim Clutts. He also races motorcycles. There were about 100 motorcycles in various groups and then one car group. Really a well run event, even though the focus is motorcycles. Those guys and gals have balls!

I couldn't get much stuff done on the car as it draws so much attention. I really like to answer questions and let the kids sit in the car. Eventually I just have to ignore everyone and get the car ready or I would never drive it.

Rob, maybe you can find out who did the cars for the Louisiana event this weekend. I noticed a few of the cars had decals all over them specifically for the event.

Jason, the problem is only getting the sponsor graphics. I have someone I use for the Rx7's, but I was going to try the company that Risi uses. They won't respond to my emails, so I might try to call this week. Backup plan is to use who I have in the past. No big deal, just behind schedule in my books.

Jordan, my Rx7 race team can be found at www.chicksdigitracing.com. The Challenge videos can be found here under Links and Videos.

In regards to #4, Rob, are you having trouble with the decals or the models/pictures?

I'll be sending an email out this week to all the committed race team sponsors. However, I thought a quick update to everyone would be good.

I ran the FerrariChat.com 355 C at TMS today. This was the first time after installing the passenger seat and belts. Jennie had the first honor and had a blast. She said she trusted me and the car, but not all the other drivers out there. They combined the Advanced, Intermediate, and Novice class. It was pretty funny. Last time I went with this group they allowed open passing. About 3 laps in they black flagged me and let me know "nicely" that there was only passing on two straights. I had been taking advantage of the novices going in too hot and as they pushed out to never never land I would take the inside. They said a couple of the cars had spun out right after I went by out of shock I guess.

Anyway, I took a couple more passengers out in the afternoon. I then put it on stands and changed the oil, oil filter, and bled the brakes (inside and outside bleed screws this time :-)).

Sorry it was cold and the Hooters girls had to stay warm. The tall dark haired one is the Hooters international swim suit winner.

Other FerrariChat.com Race Team updates...

1) Put another order in for FerrariChat.com Race Team t-shirts and polos last Thursday. They say 3 weeks from now and then it will take me another week to get them in the mail. They'll be in by Christmas! :-)

2) Passenger seat and belt is in, so I am more than happy to give rides at any future events. Next event is the Ferrari of Houston track day and FCA holiday party at TWS/College Station the weekend of December 6-7th.

3) I'll join MSR end of this year so we'll be ready for private events for next year.

4) All sponsor framed pictures and the 1:18 models will wait until next year after we get all the sponsor decals on. I'm having problems with that right now and need to find someone soon.

We're still accepting all levels of sponsors, to join the team, please see the Race Team page... http://www.ferrarichat.com/discus/raceteam/index.htm.

For all committed and paid sponsors, please visit the Race Team page http://www.ferrarichat.com/discus/raceteam/index.htm and check all the information in the table. I need everyone's address and your shirt sizes. Only those with a "*" by their name have paid, if you haven't paid yet, please send either a paypal to [email protected] or mail a check to...

Lastly, please let me know if any questions or suggestions.

Thanks,
rob
