My wifes friends brother in law just bought one !
A really nice one with red pipeing on the seats.
A red one. The pics of his car is on the F.C. Houston
Chapter breakfast pics; in the Tx Section.

75 is the "legal" # in the states.

Awesome car. Hopefully they will make the "cheap"
12 cyl mid engine Ferrari again !!

There is a total of 500 512M's made. Only 75 were bought to the US..

I've seen 2 black ones in NY alone through the years and Shelton Sports Cars of Fort Lauderdale use to advertise a black one for a while. I assume there should be a few out there.

500 were made total with 75 coming to the States. The U.S. models were also individually numbered with plaques on the dash.

I don't know about this one Bruce. He's correct with the number produced. I don't remember if it was 75 for the U.S. or for the world, but 75 sticks in my mind. :-)

I heard there were about 75 512M made before the Testarossa line succumbed to the Maranello. How many black ones were made? Does anybody have a rough estimate? Maybe 30?
