Oh C'mon, they're not that big....picnic benches maybe, but not tables! On the plus side, they actually function as bumpers, so God forbid someone bumps into you in a parking lot they might actually save your car, as opposed to that nice looking piece of useless plastic that passes for a "bumper" on a Euro car!

A little weird.....yes. But if you're into tailgating at sports events, they make great picnic tables! |

GTB's rule! 1977 US Model, 44,000 miles, Massachusetts. I'm one of the weirdos that actually prefers the look of the U.S. bumpers. What can I say, Magnum P.I. had a U.S. spec car!

Thanks Barry I like the historical significance - faster than red ones too Maybe we should start a "glass 308 - show yourselves" thread! Nah - bad idea - someone will then start a "dry sump glass 308......" |

OK cheating a bit here :-) This is my old 308 with my current 328. I met up with the new owner and some others for a trip through southern Germany. Thought I'd get a pic of the two together. The 308 is a '77 US model. Just to be doubly cheeky, I'm posting the same pic on the 328 thread :-) Enjoy your cars guys Simon

Year: 1977 clour: Blu Sera/magnolia serial#: 21747 location: Amsterdam, the Netherlands Mileage: 97500 kilometers I will post some pictures soon. This is originally a German car, delivered by Auto-Becker of Dusseldorf. I imported it to Holland about 18 months ago. In the past 4 months the body has undergone a restoration.Pictures of that also in a couple of weeks. It is a completely original car except for the wheels(16inch)and exhaust(4-tip sports exhaust instead of the single tip style). It has a dry-sump engine and single distributor setup with electronic pickup coils. |

I noticed lately there are a lot of members here on F-Chat with 308 GTB's. I really wondered how many and am starting this thread as a registry of those who have a GTB. If you are a 308 GTB owner please take a minute to post a little info about your car. The following would be great: Year Colour Exterior / Interior Serial Number Location Mileage Include a picture if you can too I'll go first: 1977 Red / Tan 20783 (steel body but pre-dates some glass cars) Toronto Canada 22,300 miles
