The gunmetal gray (grigio) is such a good color for the TR. I love it

This is off topic but it does pertain to Testarossas. The Testarossa Winery will open their wine tasting room starting this weekend and it will be open daily from 11:00am til 5:00pm. They make some great reds. I plan to stop by on my next trip to San Jose.

William H., I wish you can give me a ride in your challenge (only if you have navi. seat) Happy b-day. You don't look in 40's!

Bruce, Happy B-day, old chap! (I just turned 41 last month)

Jim, you are close to many people, right. Now you know Bruce & my B-day, too!

Sorry to badge in TR thread for these posts. BUT I do like TR, and hoping to buy TR (or Boxer) for my next F-car.

Warren, thanks for the compliment. The Potenza S0-2s are great and stick well in corners. But, they have been on the car since 2000 and the rears are quite worn out, so I recently changed them over to Kumho Ecsta MX. I must say the Kumho tires are performing quite well. Hell of a bang for the buck these Kumhos.

Yoshi, My great grandfather founded Hubbell Inc in 1888 & I'm a Large shareholder

As for race parts for the Ferrari 512TR. If you want to keep it streetable you can upgrade to F50 brakes, tubi, K&N air filters, racing seats, harnesses, I'm a bit wary of the chips.

The race car uses a Motec system which many other race cars use as well. It has the same F50 brakes as my road car but with more aggressive pads

William H. How do you get the sponsorship of Hubbell! I buy their electrical parts every month, and they used to invite me for golf tournament in 90's. (through distributors) Maybe I can get one from Hubbell, too.
Wait, is you last name H stands for Hubbell? Are you the owner? I still have some Hubbell sales promo from golf tournament, and I really like their logo!

William H, Excellent 512tr Race Car, Love to see the 512tr representing on the track.

Eric, Gorgeous car, Love those mirrors.

Bruce and Glen, Yellow TR's are my favorites and yours are absolutely stunning.

Warren, thanks for compliments, I have been hard press to find another 512TR with the same "Color Code" as mine. So yes, it is a "rare" color for the 512TR. I have heard rumors that there is only one other one in the states.

just your average TR interior. I think she has gobbled up nearly $150k by now. Suspension upgrades are coming in the form of Penske shocks & customs springs & sway bars. Eventually I'll have different springs & sway bars for @ track

How well does it handle?? You didn't mention any
suspension upgrades. With all that weight gone,
were the standard Ferrari parts good enough?

I also like the coordinated racing suit :-) ...
I gotta do that once I have my Stradale.

How about a front view, a rear view, and an interior shot?

Thanks, Bruce!

I'm not certain about the wax, as I use a local detail guy who gives the cars a thorough going over roughly every 6 months. I'll ask him what he uses specifically (might be 3M products, but not sure on that).

That's it...you've convinced me...will have to put a TUBI on the "Santa List"!

Will do on the phone call too...just as soon as things settle down around the office...

Great thread, Bruce! It's nice to be able to finally participate in this thread ...

Wow, Bruce...must be kind of cool owning a former celebrity car. Did you ever have the chance to meet Frank S.? How's the TUBI? I'm still contemplating getting one.

William...I get the goosebumps every time I see a pic of your track 512TR...what a rocket!

Stephen...you have a very pristine, original example TR there!

OK, here's mine:
