Clutch readings are fully fudgeable and almost totally meaningless. Have seen wear rates of 160% with no problems of any kind....explain?? Servicing is mainly checks and fluid changes. As always, servicing is prevention, not cure. Any repairs are always extra....ie brake discs/pads. Even spark plugs are good for huge km so really very little required. Your owners handbook and service book has all the details spelled out and any dealer/specialist should follow it closely. Most service schedules are based on mileages that most owners never achieve, so some flexibility and common sense needs to prevail....that's where the grey area begins. Your dealer should inform you of any updates/recalls. If not, just contact them and ask for a list of any relevant to your car. |

360 owners - what are the recommended service intervals for a 360 (not the 3 year cambelt) and what is done on each service. I am looking at a '99 F1 with 14k miles, belts done this year and clutch done last year. So I am trying to fugure what would need doing in the next 3 years up to the next belt service. Also, how accurate are the clutch readings provided by the diagnostic computers. |
