I completely removed the damn motorized belts and installed a 5pt harness set up using the hidden factory bolt holes for use with the Momo belts. The holes are behind the panel behind each seat and on the floor board, you can also install a roll cage using the factory hidden bolt holes too.

I unplugged the wire under the seat. That keeps the damn mouse from running back and forth. I use the fixed seatbelt catch on the seat for the shoulder belt. The lap belt stays the same.

It sounds like you are looking to do something a little more permanent.

Has anyone taken out the automatic seatbelts and if so what did you replace them with and how?
