Funny you say that Ryan... I spent today checking progress on my 365 GTB/4 Daytona engine rebuild. The manager promised me that as soon as it's running he'll call me on the phone and let me listen ! I just hope they don't cheat and 'play' a 365 GT4 2+2 at me... Regards, John |

Ryan, call Eric at Ferrari of Seattle. He will ship you a CD of 45 minutes of all different Fcar sounds including vintage, stock modern and F1 cars. Russ |

I was reading a lot of the posts about how beautiful the engine sound on the 360CS is and after watching the videos I would agree. It reminded me about the part in Gone in 60 Seconds where they listen to the engine of the Ferrari 365GTB/4 Daytona. Are there actual audio tapes of Ferraris out there? I went looking in the archives but I couldn't really find anything about that. I've seen CDs of jet engines but I haven't seen any for Ferraris. I actually got to thinking about it after watching the Porsche Cayenne Turbo commercial where the guy puts his phone near the exhaust and revs the engine for his friend. That seems like something I'd do the day I got my first F-car. |
