Jon - I tried your suggestion about loosening the lug nuts on the fronts to cure the oversteer - like you said all the "fast guys" do it - but I couldn't get enough laps in to really tell if it was working before I had a big mechanical problem. Thanks, though, I'll definitely try it again- maybe you should ride with me next time and give me some pointers ....

Seriously, I think I'm finally going to get FoW to scale and align the car and make some other changes to minimize the oversteer. Those guys are always racing, so helping whiney club guys with set-up understandably isn't a high priority. And once they fix the oversteer, I'm out of excuses ... But I refuse to put a bloody wing on the thing until at least some attempt has been made at mechanical changes.

Tim - OK, perfect - how do I get the info out of the car? Do I need the SD2, or whatever it's called? Can I interface through a windows laptop with the right software? Thanks!

Will you're already too damn fast........skip the data acquistion stuff or I am going to have to Turbo the 355 just to hang on your rear bumper.

The setup stuff's not going work anyway. I pay the FOW guys to mess with your setup when you not around so I can keep up. Boy that 3 degrees postive camber on the front of your car really slowed you down didn't it?

Seriously, though, it sounds like you have way more experience with the various forms of loggers but from what I have heard from a friend who races Atlantics the Motec or the PI is a better system than a Stack (which is what I have used on a Spec Racer).

I should have our FOW session on a server this weekend.

Does anyone know whether the 360 series software & sensors package allows acquisition of basic performance data - throttle position, rpm, lat & long gs (doubt it), exhaust temps, steering wheel position, etc? Or is it necessary to equip the car with Motec/Pi/Stack or the like? If a third party package is necessary, is any one system uniquely suited to the 360 series (I have used Motec Pi & Stack). It would be both fun and useful to be able to hook a laptop up to the car and do post session downloads. Yes, I know it's overkill for a club car, but set-up is part of the fun for me.
