Yes, C cars are basically stock with a few mild race suspension parts, but not much under the bonet. The Michelotto cars like the 308 and the current 360 GT are no holds ass kicking race cars prepared to Le Mans rules. $50,000 suspensions and go fast parts under the bonet too.

There was a Michelotto 308 being worked on once when I went to the dealership about a month ago. It had huge slicks on it, 512BB A arms, fuel cells, etc etc. The mechanic said 360 Challenge cars are given a run for their money and 355 Cs can barely keep up, all things being equal of course.
I don't really know much about Michelotto in specific other than like the guys have said about their modifying Ferraris for racing purposes back in the 80s for the most part. I think they pretty much stuck to race prep and mods for private teams.

If you ever get a chance to see a Michelotto 308 on the track, it will be the one passing up the 355's...
That should tell you a little about them.

All I know is that Michelotto help with the development of Ferrari prototypes - helped immensely with the development of the F40 and also have an extensive range of aftermarket performance enhacement parts for Ferraris - especially with the F40 again.
