I know someone that owns a brown 308 GTB. It's not that bad (after all 308's are beautiful in any color), but it's definitely not my first choice... :-)

Lotus made some brown Europas. If you've ever seen one, you'd think there SOULD be a law against them. EEEEUUUUUWWWW!!

with all that smog in LA you could not make out a broown car on the road. Higher accident ratio.

Red Ferrari's actually have an insurance rebate in CA :-)

I read it too and it confused me. I think the real issue had to do with the Decpetive Trade Practices Act. I guess that manufacturers were calling cars brown that were really different shades like "desert mist" etc.. I think the lawsuits were about the descriptions being inaccurate.

I was just looking at my new issue of Automobile and there is an article about the Supreme Court upholding California's ban on brown sports cars and convertibles! Is this for real??????
Anyone from CA know anything about this????? I reread the article a couple of times looking for the "April Fool" line, but not obvious to me. Am I missing something????
