Anyone remember the cool "Exotic Car" folders? They came out with a new series of like 8 per year. I had the new series every year of grade school. I remember my favorite was the Aston Martin Vantage at that time though :P

Here is the inside!!!! Do you guys remember the plastic rings that could be opened by sliding the lever at the bottom? They would never close right either.

hehe, trapper keeper :-) do they still make those?

Its a binder with lots of folders inside, kinda colorful? had some kind of flap or something so your papers wouldn't fall out or something. I vagely remember the commercials.

I bought my first Ferrari, an 84 GTSI in 85 for 52,000. They gave me 26,000 for my 79 450SL as a trade in, so I jumped at that offer. I seem to have enjoyed the car back them more than I do now with my current 308. That was probably because I drove the car a lot more back then. I put 15,000 miles on it in a year and a half then sold it to a car dealer for 41,500.

I don't think many of us here could afford one in the 80s, either that or they were not yet weened. I could afford one then but had much higher priorities {Food, Shelter, Clothing}.

What was it like to own a Ferrari in the 80's? I remember the 80s but I was to young to drive let alone buy a Ferrari. I saw 308s and Testarossas on almost every trapper keeper, and lots of posters of them when I was in grade school in the 80s so I can only imagine what it was like to own a Ferrari then.
