Like Tako, I am also a Japanese, and Mr. Matsuda is my close family friend. He is the reason I fell in love with Ferraris and Porsches. You've got to visit his Sports Car Museum in Gotenba if you have a chance. If you also have a chance to meet in person, please tell him that I said hello. |

http://www.neko.co.jp/guest/magazine/scuderia/001/museum/museum.htm I also found this, but it is in Japanese which I cannot read. Hopefully you know someone that can or you yourself can. |

http://www.velocetoday.com/lifestyle/lifestyle_8.php This is the only good reference I found referring to the Museum. I hope this helps. I saw some of the Matsuda Collection at Ferrari's 50th Celebration at the Barrett Jackson Auction in 1997. He has some really amazing examples. I think the Peterson Automotive Museum in LA had a few of his cars on display that year also. Take pictures and please share if you do end up going. |

I thought Matsuda had a Ferrari Museum in Japan. I will try to find some info and post what ever I find. |

Seems like my initial post did not take. I'll be heading to Japan Saturday for work. I'll be there a few weeks and will be mostly in Nagoya and Tokyo. I noticed there's a Ferrari exhibition at the Museum of Contempory Art in Tokyo, but where else can I check out some Ferraris? The only links I found for dealers are in Kanji! |
